Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to another edition of Monday Night Raw! This show could be an exciting one after the return of WWE/UFC Superstar Brock Lesnar last week! We expect a confrontation between Cena and Lesnar as well as Jericho and Punk after the incidents that took place last week. Stay tuned with WNS tonight for all of your live coverage needs!

We start off the show with a "The Three Stooges" advertisement and are told by Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler that the stooges will be guests on the show tonight. Also coming up tonight, CM Punk vs. Mark Henry. John Laurinaitis and David Otunga walk down to the ring to inspirational music, presumably Laurinaitis's new theme music. Laurinaitis introduces Brock Lesnar as the new face of the WWE as the titantron shows Cena talking about The Rock last week before Lesnar arrived. Laurinaitis announces that Brock Lesnar will square off against John Cena at Extreme Rules before welcoming him to the ring. Lesnar makes his way down to the ring with a pretty large pop from the crowd.

Lesnar takes the mic and thanks Laurinatis for having the wisdom to bring legitimacy back to the WWE. And at that, Cena's music hits to a pretty big pop. Cena makes his way down to the ring to a smiling Lesnar. A "Cena" chant takes over the arena as Cena tells Brock Lesnar that he never got to thank him for last week. Cena slaps Lesnar across the face! Lesnar hits Cena with a spear and the two are on the ground hitting one another. Referees and Superstars are out from the back trying to seperate the two! Cena's mouth is full of blood as he smiles across the ring at Lesnar! "Let them fight!" erupts from the fans! Cena has broken away from those holding him back and has attacked Lesnar again! The superstars finally seperate the two men again while the crowd goes crazy! And now Lesnar has broken from his group and is attacking Cena! Lesnar is finally pulled out of the ring by some of the WWE Roster and Staff. Lesnar smiles as he's escorted to the back. What a great start to the show!Com

We see Laurinaitis scolding Teddy Long backstage for not containing John Cena. Eve then makes an appointment with Johnny to meet later.

Coming out for a tag team match are Brodus Clay and the U.S. Champion, Santino Marella! The two danced all the way down to the ring. Following them is the tag team of Jack Swagger and Dolph Ziggler who are introduced by Vickie Guerrero as the greatest team in the Universe. Ziggler and Marella start the match first. Ziggler gets two quick one counts on Santino before Santino moves into the offensive with a huge arm bar. Ziggler escapes the hold and tags in Swagger but Santino had tagged in Brodus Clay who planted Swagger almost immediatelly. Clay gets in a few slams before Swagger hits him with a shoulder to the knee and then another shoulder to the upper body. Clay is grounded as we cut to commercial.

We come back from the break to see Ziggler dominating Santino. Ziggler locks Santino in a leg hold and tags Swagger who hits Santino with an elbow drop. Santino fights his way out and gets some offensive in on Swagger before Swagger nails Santino with a slam and tags Ziggler back in. Ziggler talks trash to Brodus but Santino rolls him up! 1-2..no. Now the two exchange moves before Santino tags in Brodus. Brodus dominates Ziggler with a slam and a big splash into a pin. 1-2-3! Santino and Brodus defeat Dolph and Swagger via Pin!

We cut backstage to see The Miz and Laurinaitis talking backstage. Johnny tells The Miz that he has big plans for him but they'll have to talk about it next week. Long and Cena show up backstage where Cena raises his voice about how Laurinaitis wants Cena out of the business. And that normally a wrestler who was busted open would get the night off but Cena wants a match. Cena walks off as Laurinaitis tells Long to go and tell Otunga he has a match with Cena tonight and that Laurinaitis will be ringside. Santino is backstage asking everyone if they've seen The Three Stooges anywhere.

Commercial

We come back to see Santino still looking for the Stooges before running into Kane, ultimately causing him to run back in the direction he came from. R-Truth and Cody Rhodes make their way down to the ring for their match against one another. R-Truth has the offensive early but Cody reverses into a huge alabama slam! At that the Big Show comes out and shows footage of Cody losing to Kofi on last week's RAW when he was distracted by Big Show. Cody uses the distraction to hit a facebuster and make the cover. 1-2-3! R-Truth defeats Cody Rhodes via pin.

Santino finds a big crate backstage that he thinks is a care package sent from his mother. Santino opens the crate and out drops the Stooges. Santino asks the Stooges what they have planned for the show. The four then take turns slapping one another while asking what the plan is. Santino leaves the Stooges behind as they try to come up with a plan for later tonight.

Commercial

Lord Tensai comes out for his match against Yoshi Tatsu to a small amount of boos. We're told that Yoshi Tatsu challenged Tensai to this match and claimed that Tensai isn't "Real Japanese". It doesn't take long for Tensai to nail Tatsu with repeated slaps to the head and a huge clam. Tatsu pops back up and tries to get some offensive in but it doesn't last. Tensai plants Tatsu with a huge facebuster and backdrop. The crowd has chanted "Albert" on many occasions throughout the match. Tensai hits Tatsu with elbows to the head and another slam. The referee then checks on Tatsu and calls the match. Tensai spits the mist again and puts Tatsu in the mandible claw. Tensai exits the ring and heads to the back as we're shown what Chris Jericho did to CM Punk last week. We get another reminder that Punk will square off with Mark Henry for the WWE Championship later tonight!

Commercial

We're shown footage from last week of Chris Jericho trying to force Jericho into drinking and breaking a bottle over his head. CM Punk makes his way down to the ring appearing very disgruntled. He takes the mic from the ring announcer before his introduction is even completed. He takes a minute to reflect before telling the crowd he wanted to break the silence. He admits that Straight Edge isn't a concept that everybody gets and that he understands that. He talks about his choice to be straight edge and that he didn't do it to try and be cool or fit in. He tells the fans that he wanted to keep his reasoning for being straight edge quiet because it wasn't anybody's business. He doesn't want people feeling sorry for him and that he's going to come out and do what he's best at, wrestling. He follows that up by addressing Chris Jericho and his desire to destroy CM Punk's privacy. And that when Wrestlemania ended and Punk stood victorious over Jericho, Jericho took it one step further. Jericho took it one step too far when he poured whiskey all over Punk's body and smashed a bottle over Punk's head. There was one thought in Punk's head and that thought was "I smell exactly like my father did." The fans show support as Punk takes a second to collect himself. Jericho then cuts Punk off on the titantron. Jericho asks Punk if he's still hung over. Is the WWE Universe witnessing CM Punk in his first bender? Jericho tells Punk that he's in denial and that he's powerless to alcohol. He tells Punk that the fans see a loser now. And that CM Punk now knows exactly what it is to be CM Drunk. Jericho smiles and laughs at a very distraught Punk. Punk tells him that Jericho can't break him and that Jericho's failure is not knowing that he made the biggest mistake of his life. CM Punk tells him that Jericho sent him to a bad place with horrible memories. CM Punk plans on bottling all of those memories up, packing them in punches and unleashing them on Jericho. Because this is no longer about who is the best in the world, it's about CM Punk kicking Jericho's ass.

Mark Henry comes out and we cut to commercial.

Commercial

CM Punk runs over to Henry and nails him with knee after knee and kick after kick. Mark Henry looks hurt but catches Punk on the run and slams him. Punk rolls out of the ring and Henry chases him. Punk has a tv screen and smashes it over Mark Henry's head. Mark Henry defeats CM Punk via DQ.

Jericho's music hits and he walks out onto the stage holding cases of beer. Henry has Punk and he brings him into the ring where he hits a World's Strongest Slam. Henry lifts him again and hits him with another World's Strongest Slam before exiting the ring. Jericho however has entered the ring with one of the cases of beer in hand. He opens a beer and gets ready to pour it on Punk but Punk is up and he nails Jericho with a kick. The two are exchanging punchees and now Punk has Jericho grounded. Punk goes to jump on Jericho but Jericho catches him with a Codebreaker. Jericho calls him stupid and begins to pour cans of beer all over Punk. The fans are booing like crazy as Punk coughs and Jericho yells at him to "Drink it in you son of a bitch." Referees make there way into the ring and seperate Jericho from CM Punk. CM Punk makes his way to his feet but Jericho hits him with another Codebreaker. Jericho exits the ring and grabs the Championship before holding it in the air and smiling.

And now Otunga has regained control as he hit's a slam and drops a few elbows and punches to Cena's torso. News » Update On Return Of Brock Lesnar to WWE After 8 Years

Brock Lesnar may yet be returning to the WWE, but he hasn't appeared on camera just yet.

Despite persistant rumors and reports over the weekend that Lesnar and the WWE had come to an agreement for him to return to professional wrestling, Lesnar did not make an appearance at Sunday's Wrestlemania 28 event.

He was rumored to potentially involve himself in either the Triple H vs. Undertaker match, or the main event between John Cena and The Rock, but both came and went without him.

That will surely lead to more views on Monday night for WWE's flagship program Raw, as Lesnar may return for the first time in eight years to set up his path for the next year.

Whether he was legitimately in the plans for a return on tonight's Wrestlemania event, the WWE certainly benefited from the rumors, as there are likely many that tuned in out of curiosity over his return. Since he was rumored to be in Miami on Sunday, as well as backstage at the show, he may simply be making his return tonight at RAW.

04-01: Wretlemania XVIII Results : John Cena Vs The Rock (Once In A Lifetime)

The Rock vs. John Cena

MIAMI – This wasn't just a WrestleMania XXVIII main event one year in the making. It was a "Once in a Lifetime" Match, an epic battle that redefined the legacies of two of WWE's most legendary Superstars.

To put it simply, winning this meant everything for John Cena and The Rock.

All the heated confrontations, personal attacks, and physical aggression that forged one of the bitterest rivalries in history, finally came to a boil on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

In front of a Sun Life Stadium record-crowd of 78,363, the leader of Cenation and The Great One both delivered in the toughest fight of their accomplished careers. But only one man would be able to leave WrestleMania with his head high, knowing he seized the rare opportunity to change how he's remembered for all of eternity.

Before the match even began, excitement filled the air as MGK performed a rousing rendition of his hit song Invincible. MGK left no doubts as to who he was rooting for, saying the WWE Universe was about to see "one of the biggest egos get beat by one of the biggest underdogs," referring to the leader of Cenation as the underdog. Cena strode down the entrance way sporting a brand new green T-shirt emblazoned with his "Rise Above Hate" mantra, and expectedly received a mixed reaction from the WWE Universe.

In another sensational musical performance, Flo Rida matched MGK with his own hit songs, Good Feeling and Wild Ones before The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment emerged as cameras flashed seemingly everywhere throughout Sun Life Stadium. It was clear from that moment on who had the crowd advantage between these two icons.

Shortly after the bell rang, Cena sent The Rock tumbling with a show of power to send an early message to start the contest. The Rock didn't flinch and promptly returned the favor with a shove of his own that tossed Cena down to the canvas. The Great One proved that he didn't miss a beat despite the ring rust, as he executed a couple of hip tosses and a very crafty la magistral rollup for a near-pinfall. Cena looked shocked as he took a breather in the corner of the ring.

The Rock soon asserted more of an early advantage, forcing Cena to roll out of the ring to regroup to a loud chorus of boos from the crowd. But Cena began to build momentum by using his power to wear down The Rock with punishing suplexes and a vice-like bearhug around Rock's midsection. The Brahma Bull then reached down for a second wind and rallied back before both men found themselves laid out by a double clothesline.

The personal nature of the rivalry was on full display when The Rock attempted to mock Cena with his own "You can't see me" hand motion. The decision backfired, however, as Cena caught The Great One with a massive Attitude Adjustment and nearly got a three-count. The Rock soon answered and nailed a vicious Rock Bottom of his own, but couldn't keep Cena down.

As both men started to show signs of fatigue, they began to try whatever it would take to gain an edge in the matchup, including a pair of excruciating submission maneuvers. The Rock slapped on a Sharpshooter, Cena answered by rendering his opponent almost unconscious with an STF. But neither Superstar would give up, proving their outstanding will to win in the face of severe physical and mental exhaustion.

After Rock managed to slip out of an Attitude Adjustment attempt, he nailed the much-anticipated People's Elbow, but it still wouldn't be enough to defeat the leader of Cenation. In a remarkable show of strength, Cena reversed a crossbody from the top rope and lifted The Rock straight into an Attitude Adjustment. Even more remarkably, The Great One somehow kicked out.

With The Brahma Bull on his back in the center of the ring, Cena had his best chance to put his rival away for good and win the exhausting showdown. One mistake -- one moment of ego -- would ruin everything for the leader of Cenation, though. Perhaps still dwelling on the exchange earlier in the match when Rock poked fun at one of his signature gestures, Cena tossed his armband and tried to imitate the People's Elbow to a tee.

Using the extra bit of time to recover, The Rock bounced back to his feet before Cena could execute the maneuver, and drilled him to the mat with a Rock Bottom for the 1… 2… 3!

Hulk Hogan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, and now John Cena: The Rock has conquered them all on The Grandest Stage of Them All and cemented his legacy as arguably the greatest WWE Superstar of all time.

The expression on Cena's face said it all as he sat in the middle of the entrance way while The Rock raised his fist in celebration, soaking in cheers and more camera flashes from the booming crowd.

Cena could've been set to enjoy a "Once in a Lifetime" victory over The Rock. Instead, he'll have to forever replay the final moments of the match in his mind forever.

MIAMI– For weeks, Chris Jericho made things personal with WWE Champion CM Punk, bringing his family into things (WATCH). The two used The Grandest Stage of Them All to settle their score and finally prove who indeed is best in the world. (PHOTOS)

Before the match, Punk was informed by new General Manager of Raw and SmackDown John Laurinaitis that if he lost his temper and were disqualified, he would lose his title. WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho - WrestleMania 28

Punk and Jericho couldn’t have had a better stage to back up their claims of being the best in the world. They went to war in front of 78,363 in attendance at Miami’s Sun Life Stadium – a new record for the venue. The massive event was also only the third time in history that WrestleMania was held outdoors.

With the stage set, the rivals went to work, each bringing a wealth of experience to the ring. Heading into his 11th WrestleMania, Jericho boasted being the first-ever undisputed World Champion, a six-time World Champion, and a nine-time Intercontinental Champion. Going into his sixth WrestleMania, Punk was a five-time World Champion.

WWE Champion CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho - WrestleMania 28

As the battle began, Jericho wasted no time trying to get Punk disqualified. When Punk raised a steel chair and was poised to strike his opponent, Jericho urged him on with taunts about his family. But Punk didn’t let his emotions get the better of him and held back before getting himself disqualified.

As the two went toe-to-toe, it appeared Punk had Jericho where he wanted when he blasted him with the GTS. But Jericho avoided the pinfall by cleverly putting his leg on the ropes.

Next, Jericho locked the champion in his punishing Walls of Jericho. But Punk dug deep and found his way to the ropes to break the hold. When Jericho served up a blistering Codebreaker, even that was not enough to bring down the champion who continued to scratch and claw to prove who was best in the world.

As The Second City Saint continued to fight tooth-and-nail to defend his title, he went for another GTS. But Jericho countered with another session in The Walls of Jericho.
