HOT NEWS :- 6 Championship Outcomes From SummerSlam 2018 To Future WWE Television

SummerSlam now seems fully complemented. The matches are all set to develop future storylines. However, it is the championship matches which shine through this year. Fans will witness Brock Lesnar defending his Universal Championship and AJ Styles taking on Samoa Joe.

The build for SummerSlam has been dramatic. The championship storylines have offered twists and turns. They will culminate very soon. Nevertheless, the outcomes are immensely beneficial to the future. Brock Lesnar is a part of the older generation. Therefore, it now is the time for a change.

Fans deserve to see names like; Finn Balor, Seth Rollins, and Samoa Joe take the reigns. At SummerSlam, each match has a story to tell. The lengthy feud between Daniel Bryan and The Miz will culminate. Moreover, Baron Corbin seeks revenge against Finn Balor. Therefore, SummerSlam must deliver the highest level of entertainment.

Here are the most lucrative championship outcomes for SummerSlam.

# 6. Shinsuke Nakamura retains his championship

Shinsuke Namakura defeated Jeff Hardy for the WWE United States championship at Extreme Rules 2018. However, after the match, Randy Orton returned and attacked Hardy, see video below. Since then all three have been entwined in a weird showdown. At SummerSlam Hardy will challenge Nakamura for the championship.

Nakamura has been progressing excellently since leaving NXT. He has faced AJ Styles in numerous bouts. Moreover, he took Rusev to his limit on SmackDown. Now a champion his future looks bright. He has immense potential to reach heights similar to AJ Styles.

Hardy versus Nakamura at SummerSlam is going to be interesting. Firstly, there is the expectation of high-quality performances. Secondly, how will Randy Orton factor into this match? Overall, fans should expect immense drama and well-developed story-telling. This match is beneficial for everyone involved. With Orton and Hardy fueling a feud. Nakamura will walk out as champion.

# 5. Charlotte becomes champion

Charlotte has progressed into arguably the best female wrestler in the industry. Moreover, she is the daughter of Ric Flair. At SummerSlam Charlotte will compete in a Triple Threat match, alongside Becky Lynch and Carmela. It will be for the SmackDown Live women's championship.

On July 24th Becky Lynch defeated Carmela on SmackDown Live. The following week Charlotte returned saving Lynch from Carmela's attack, see video below. Subsequently, Paige would schedule a match between Carmela and Charlotte. Her victory provided entry to the championship match. It was now a Triple Threat match.

In the ring, Charlotte utilizes aerial attacks and technical wrestling. Moreover, she has a solid submission basis. However, her presence as a heel is arguably her best attribute. Lynch and Charlotte are friends. However, expect Charlotte to turn heel and win the championship. The current direction seems headed this way.

# 4. Alexa Bliss retains her championship

Alexa Bliss has progressed immensely since her Raw debut. However, she was also entertaining on SmackDown Live. Arguably Bliss is the most versatile female wrestler in WWE. Similar to Charlotte she is excellent in the ring and as a heel character.

Bliss retained her championship at Extreme Rules against Nia Jax. Nevertheless, she has yet to outlast Ronda Rousey. In recent weeks Rousey finished her suspension and made her intentions clear. Kurt Angle scheduled Rousey to face Bliss at SummerSlam for the Raw Women's championship. She had an excellent showing against Alicia Fox, see video below.

Rousey has been hyped immensely since her debut. However, Bliss' efforts have been excellent. Therefore, considering her youth in the business, Rousey it unlikely to win at SummerSlam. It would be more beneficial to save this victory for the brand new women's PPV, Evolution. It would be more lucrative for WWE and their fans.

# 3. Dolph Ziggler retains his championship

Dolph Ziggler has been excellent as Intercontinental Champion. Moreover, his teaming with Drew McIntyre has been interesting. However, Seth Rollins will challenge him at SummerSlam 2018. Their match is going to be dramatic, considering their Iron Man match recently, see video below.

Recently on Raw television, Ziggler and Rollins have been embroiled in singles and tag team matches. Their interaction has mostly been through promo segments. Their performances have been excellent. Presently, Rollins has had a few rematches. He has failed each opportunity to regain the Intercontinental championship.

Therefore, it serves WWE well to progress Rollins back into the Universal championship picture. Moreover, there is a myriad of talent ready to challenge Ziggler. Their match will be entertaining but expect Ziggler to retain. Leaving Rollins to move onto better things.

# 2. Samoa Joe becomes WWE Champion

Samoa Joe and AJ Styles have an extensive history. Within Impact wrestling (then TNA) they fought for the X-Division championship. Then in later years for the TNA World Championship. In WWE Joe has been an excellent heel character.

His history in NXT was excellent, notably feuding with Finn Balor, see video below. However, on Raw and SmackDown Live Joe has feuded with huge names. Most notably Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. However, Joe has yet become a World champion. Albeit, on NXT.

Joe is dangerous in the ring. He has legitimate fighting skills and can utilize submissions. However, his opponent AJ Styles has equal abilities. Their history deserves the spotlight in WWE. Moreover, Joe is the perfect option for Styles to pass the torch. Therefore, WWE invests in their match. It deserves to main event SummerSlam. Nevertheless, expect Joe to walk out as champion.

# 1. Braun Strowman becomes champion

The history between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar is storied. They have collided multiple times. However, Reigns has yet tamed the beast. Most recently at the Greatest Royal Rumble Lesnar retained his championships. Albeit, it was speculated Reigns feet hit the floor first, see video below. Therefore, making their Steel Cage match perhaps the most controversial in modern history.

On Raw television recently events were set in motion, gearing towards SummerSlam. Firstly, Kurt Angle challenged Lesnar to show up on Raw, or face losing his championship. Secondly, Reigns would outlast Bobby Lashley, becoming number one contender. Also on Raw Braun Strowman has been battling Kevin Owens. Their feud concerns the Money in the Bank (MITB) contract.

At SummerSlam, matches will determine the MITB contract owner and the Universal champion. Therefore, what happens will be crucial to future story-lines. Considering their investment in Strowman, WWE must capitalize and have Strowman cash in his opportunity. Moreover, he must be victorious. However, Strowman must defeat the newly crowned Reigns. Therefore, allowing Lesnar to enter a feud with a potential new client of Paul Heyman, as per recent events on Raw, see video below.

SPOILER: First Match Confirmed For Evolution 2018 Pay-Per-View

What's the story?
The second annual Mae Young Classic has already been taped and the final is now set to take place at the first ever all-women's pay-per-view called Evolution.

In case you didn't know...
The Mae Young Classic saw 32 of the best women's wrestlers from around the world fight it out to become the second winner of the competition after Kairi Sane was able to see off Shayna Baszler in the final of the tournament last year.

The field for the competition saw a number of familiar faces including former Divas Champion Kaitlyn and former TNA Knockout's Madison Rayne and Sienna who were known as Ashley Rayne and Allysin Kay as part of the competition.

The heart of the matter
The show didn't go without a hitch since Welsh star Tegan Nox was injured in her quarter-final match up with Rhea Ripley, but it was plain sailing for the likes of Toni Storm and Lo Shirai who have been able to make it to the final of the competition.

Storm was part of the competition last year but was knocked out by eventual winner Kairi Sane, this year she has been able to make it all the way to the final and her match with Lo Shirai is now the first official bout for the Evolution pay-per-view in October.

It was rumored that these would be the two women who would make it to the final since both were highly rated athletes coming into the competition, but it's hard to choose between them in a final of this magnitude.

What's next?
The Mae Young Classic will air on the WWE Network from September 5th and will be a single elimination tournament leading up to October 28th when the final will take place at Evolution.

News » The Rock Says WrestleMania 29 Match Possibly His Last

The Rock spoke to Hot 97's Peter Rosenberg and discussed his upcoming reality series, The Hero. During the interview, The Rock admitted that his match with John Cena at WrestleMania 29 may have been his last.
"Possibly, to be honest with you," Rock replied when asked if his match against John Cena at WrestleMania 29 was his last.

"The goal three years ago was I sat down with Vince McMahon and strategized about it, about three WrestleMania's back to back... I committed myself to the company and I was very proud of that moment. It didn't matter if I lost or I did the job, but it was an honor to do the honors. There is no better way to give back... then by doing the honors."

Rock also noted Cena was "hands down" the right guy to lose to.

"People wanted to build me to a certain place, and then do things the right way. And for the business that I love, it was an awesome way, it was the best way to give back. Was it my last match? Possibly. I'm really not too sure, and I wouldn't rule it out."

Rock was also asked if the original plan was to build for a rubber match with Cena at next year's WrestleMania in New Orleans.

"No, not at all," Rock replied, before admitting that there were plans for a match with Brock Lesnar. "The original plan was possibly Brock and myself. That was the next thing that made sense to me because I love Brock, we've been friends for over a decade now and we can have a great athletic match. But then I had torn my two tendons on my pelvis and I had to fly home that day, and we couldn't do what we wanted to do on RAW that day. So... possibly, possibly with Brock down the road."

The Rock also said that he talked to Vince McMahon and Triple H the night of WrestleMania about his injury. He said that he and Vince agreed in the locker room that he wouldn't be at RAW the next day, and that he got a call from one of the writers the next day about issuing a statement on RAW, which he did.

News » Where Are They Now?: Rick Steiner

Inside the squared circle, there isn’t too much that Rick Steiner hasn’t accomplished. A multiple-time Tag Team Champion in both WWE and WCW, the former grappler known as “The Dog-Faced Gremlin” is now focusing his efforts on a new endeavor outside of the ring: improving the schools in Cherokee County, Ga.

Education has long played an important role in Steiner’s life. He and his younger brother Scott were stars on their high school wrestling team, eventually heading to the University of Michigan, where they starred on the Wolverine squad. Rick placed second at the 1983 Big Ten Championships, and holds two of the fastest pinfalls in Michigan history at 14 and 15 seconds. Although he was an amateur standout, Rick had never thought about pursuing professional wrestling as a career.

“I never really watched it that much,” he told WWEClassics.com. “I knew a little bit about it because of Dick The Bruiser, but I never really had an interest.”

That all changed at a coaches’ conference hosted by legendary Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler. Steiner, who was substitute teaching and coaching wrestling after earning his degree in education at Ann Arbor, had a chance meeting with a WWE Hall of Famer that changed everything.

“One thing led to another and I was introduced to George ‘The Animal’ Steele,” Steiner explained. “He said if I was interested, he could set me up with Verne Gagne’s school in Minnesota.”

Steiner took a few weeks to think about it, eventually deciding that he wanted to give pro wrestling a shot. He sent a resume up to Gagne, who recommended he come up to Minnesota, where his AWA promotion was based, for training. After learning the ropes from famed trainers Eddie Sharkey and Brad Rheingans, “The Dog-Faced Gremlin” traveled through the territories to hone his craft. He made a stop in Montreal before heading down to Louisiana and Bill Watts’ Mid-South Wrestling. At first, the transition from the mat to the ring was tough for the collegiate great.

“You had to learn the psychology,” Steiner explained, “which was a hard thing for me to grasp at first. I wanted to go out there and wrestle everybody like an amateur and beat ’em. But that’s not the name of the game.”

As he learned from veterans, Steiner picked up the little things that made professional wrestling different from the amateur game. That helped him in spades in 1987, when Jim Crockett Promotions bought Watts’ territory, bringing Steiner and a few others into the fold of their promotion based out of the Carolinas.

After arriving in the Carolinas, Rick was paired up with some fellow amateur wrestlers. Managed by the devious Kevin Sullivan, The Varsity Club consisted of Steiner, Syracuse’s Mike Rotunda and Oklahoma’s “Dr. Death” Steve Williams. “The Dog-Faced Gremlin,” while every bit as talented as his teammates on the mat, was often mistreated by them for not being as smart or conniving. Their bullying led to Steiner becoming a beloved hero when he finally stood up for himself, eventually defeating Rotunda for the NWA Television Title at Starrcade 1988.

“It was a lot of fun,” Steiner said. “It was my first real big gig and it was enjoyable.”

Although he was more than capable as a singles wrestler, Rick Steiner found himself as part of a team once again in 1989. This time, the partner was a little less likely to push him around.

“They brought Scott in from Memphis [Tenn.],” Rick said. “I tried to get him in earlier, but it didn’t work out.”

Rick and Scott Steiner teamed up almost immediately after the younger brother’s arrival in the Carolinas and dominated the tag team scene. They quickly captured the NWA Tag Team Titles, wowing crowds throughout the South with a quick, hard-hitting style that let everyone from the cheap seats to the ring apron know that they meant business. For Rick, having someone similar in mindset to him was a big help in the team’s success.

“We drove up and down the road thinking of new stuff to do,” Rick said of he and his brother’s relationship. “We were always thinking about it. We took a lot of pride in what we did.”

The pride The Steiner Brothers took in their work showed, as they steamrolled over opponents, suplexing them from pillar to post while making it look easy. The two Michigan grads barely broke a sweat, while their opposition lay in shambles.

The Steiners were the centerpiece of WCW’s tag team division for three years, before they decided to make the jump to WWE in 1993.

“We thought it would be a great experience for us both, so we made the switch,” Rick said.

Rick and Scott quickly noticed differences between the Atlanta-based promotion and WWE.

“The first thing I noticed was the structure,” Rick told WWEClassics.com. “They were in control and knew what they wanted. In WCW, you had to come up with your own stuff. WWE had their vision, told you what was going on and you geared everything toward that.”

The brothers adapted just fine, defeating “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase and Irwin R. Schyster for the World Tag Team Titles within six months of their WWE debut. They won the championships again later that summer. By 1994, however, The Steiners were ready for another change of scenery.

After a brief stop in ECW, Rick and Scott made their way back to WCW at the perfect time, just before Hulk Hogan and The New World Order hit it big, making WCW the number one promotion in wrestling.

Soon after their return to WCW, though, officials had an unusual idea: splitting the successful team up.

“They brought us in and said we’d done everything as a tag team,” Rick said. “We think it might be a good time for you guys [to split up],” the officials told the brothers.

“I started out doing singles, I knew my brother could do it, we both could.”

While Scott quickly joined up with The nWo, Rick found a rather unusual rival: Chucky, the crazed doll from the “Child’s Play” movies. The possessed toy interrupted an interview with Steiner to plug his latest film and show his support for Scott in the rivalry between the two brothers. While many fans saw this as a low moment in WCW’s history, Steiner didn’t take the segment too seriously.

“I was always open to doing different things,” Rick said. “Like a lot of things [at WCW], it started with good intentions, but Chucky never showed up again. It never had an ending.”

“The Dog-Faced Gremlin” remained with WCW up until the bitter end in 2001, when the company was bought by WWE. Before the company closed, he captured the Television and United States Titles. After WCW’s sale, Steiner waited out the remainder of his contract with Time Warner, before heading to Japan, where he competed for a few years. While in the Far East, Rick began to tire of the constant grind and spending time away from his three sons at home in Georgia.

“One day, I just said, ‘What the heck am I doing? I need to go home and take care of my boys,’ ” he said. “After that tour was over, I never went back.”

Although he eventually tired of it, Rick told WWEClassics.com that getting to see the world was one of his favorite parts of his legendary career.

“Being able to see what’s out there, what’s not, different cultures, different people,” he said. “Sometimes I wish I’d have sat back and took a little more time to experience things, but when you’re on the road, you take the fastest way possible.”

After settling down at home in Georgia, Steiner got back into another industry he had started on the side during his in-ring career, real estate. He and The Big Boss Man had done some business together in the mid-1990s, but Rick had to reactivate his license before getting back into the field.

Today, he runs Rick Steiner and Associates, a real estate firm that deals in both commercial and residential property.

“Anything that has dirt or blocks and mortar, we can buy or sell it,” he said.

The business also gives him plenty of time for his family.

“It gives me a lot of flexibility to be part of my boys growing up,” Steiner said.

In addition to his real estate business, Rick also took on a position that might seem surprising when put in contrast to his gruff in-ring persona.  The man once known as “The Dog-Faced Gremlin” now sits on the Cherokee County Board of Education.

The opportunity came about when Steiner was talking with a few friends who were teachers. One was a retiring board member leaving his post, who recommended Steiner to take his seat for the rest of the term.

“The last thing I thought I’d be doing in my life was being on the school board,” Steiner said.

The transition from performer to board member was a little rough for Rick.

“For 20 years, I played a character,” he explained. “This was one of the first times I actually had to be myself. There’s no retakes or trying again. It was the real deal. I’m responsible for a school system that has 40,000 kids. The decisions I make involve a lot of kids and their futures.”

Rick has served on the board since 2005, and was appointed as chair for a year. Out of all the accomplishments he has achieved both inside the ring and out, Steiner’s work on the Board of Education is what he’s most proud of.

“It lets me be involved in the educational process,” he said. “It gives me a chance to give back to my community and to try to leave Cherokee County a better place.”

News » Triple H injury update: The Game receives MRI [WWE.Com Report]

Triple H was late arriving to the arena Monday night as Raw rolled into South Carolina, leaving some members of the WWE Universe to speculate about The Game’s well-being following his brutal No Holds Barred Match victory over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 29.

Tuesday afternoon, WWE.com's Social Media Team received a photo from Triple H, revealing that The Game had an MRI taken of his injured left arm.

WWE sources have told WWE.com that doctors ruled out a scaphoid fracture, an injury that would have sidelined The King of Kings for at least two months. Instead, it’s been determined that Triple H has suffered a carpal sprain and contusion to his left wrist.

While the injury has been diagnosed, questions still are swirling about The Game’s psyche. With the news breaking just one day after Lesnar challenged Triple H to a Steel Cage Match at the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view, one can only wonder about Triple H’s mindset. How will the injury affect his decision to accept or deny Lesnar’s challenge?

And if The Game does accept the challenge, just how vulnerable will he be? As the WWE Universe is well aware, inside the squared circle Lesnar is more animal than man, and he will undoubtedly exploit any sign of weakness.

When asked by WWE.com about the injury and the effect it may have on the challenge issued by Lesnar, Triple H had no comment.

WWE physician Dr. Michael Sampson confirmed that, while the injury is not as serious as initially feared, The King of Kings will have an uphill climb ahead of him if he decides to do battle on May 19. “He’ll be able to train with a splint on, but he’ll be cutting it close coming into Extreme Rules, as far as being ready [to compete],” Dr. Sampson said.

If Triple H does decide to accept Brock's challenge, even before they step inside the steel structure, The Game may be at a great disadvantage. How will the injury — and the splint he will have to wear — affect Triple H’s ability to train for what will certainly be an intense showdown? Lesnar is in peak physical condition, and The Game will have to be, as well, to match the beast one-on-one.

Stay with WWE.com for the latest on this developing situation.

Power Ranking the Top 50 Hottest Women in Wrestling Today

Power Ranking the Top 50 Hottest Women in Wrestling Today -:-

KellyKellyLaylaBrooke_display_image.jpgCasual fans of today's World Wrestling Entertainment have come to appreciate the physical features of women in wrestling far more than they do their in-ring exploits.
While TNA Wrestling and independent promotions across the country have worked hard to get women's wrestling over with fans of the sport, looks, body types, and physical attributes will always play a major role in the attention paid to a given Diva, Knockout, or women's wrestler.
This is a list of the 50 hottest women of wrestling. Whether you believe that the abilities of a specific woman between the ropes should take precedence (as I do) or not is inconsequential. Women from WWE, TNA, Ring of Honor, and other independent promotions are featured. Some you know, others you will be introduced to for the first time.
So sit back and enjoy.
This list, and the placement of the women involved, is the opinion of the writer. If you agree or disagree, let your voice be heard in the comment section. Also, Stephanie McMahon and Dixie Carter have been kept from these rankings because, well, I simply forgot them.

50. Tamina
Tamina2_display_image.jpgThe daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka has made quite the name for herself early in her career, most notably challenging Beth Phoenix for the WWE Divas Championship in February at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
If she can continue to evolve and improve, there is no reason she cannot do the one thing her father never did: capture WWE gold.

49. Sarita
Sarita1_display_image.jpgOne of the most talented women on any roster in the United States, Sarita has seen her television time in TNA become non-existent as of late.
The veteran of the Lucha Libre style may need to return to Mexico if she has any hope of having a productive conclusion to 2012.

48. Jillian Hall
JillianHall1_display_image.jpgAt one time, Jillian was WWE’s resident “Pop Princess,” a delusional songstress whose talents were not quite as strong as she thought. That did not her from ranking on the iTunes charts for a Christmas album released a few years back.
Now competing in the independents, Jillian remains a relevant performer.

47. Christina Von Eerie
ChristinaVonEerie_display_image.jpgAfter a brief, brief, stint with TNA, the punk-inspired Von Eerie returned to the independent circuit. Today, she can be seen competing for the new Shine promotion, as well as the cult-favorite SHIMMER.
She is currently engaged to former TNA wrestler Jesse Neal.

46. Portia Perez
PortiaPerez1_display_image.pngThis Canadian is a favorite performer in the SHIMMER promotion. A member of the Canadian NINJAS tag team with fellow countrywoman Nicole Matthews, Portia has proven to be one of the top female tag team competitors in the world.
She has also proven to be really damn adorable, too, for those keeping track.

45. Vickie Guerrero
VickieGuerrero_display_image.jpgWWE’s resident “cougar” has done more to get herself in shape and become one of the sport's most recognizable women than any other on this list.
One of the most hated performers in the sport, she has worked alongside some of the business’ most decorated and prolific stars and has far exceeded any expectations anyone could have set for her.

44. Charlotte
Charlotte1_display_image.jpgThe daughter of the legendary, two-time Hall of Fame inductee “Nature Boy” Ric Flair, Ashley Flair recently reported to Florida Championship Wrestling to begin training for an in-ring career, the latest of the Flair children to attempt to follow in their father’s footsteps.
Only time will tell if this beautiful blond, now known as Charlotte, can live up to the legacy set by one of the all-time great professional wrestlers.

43. Becky Bayless
BeckyBayless1_display_image.jpgThe former “Cookie” in TNA, Becky Bayless has the unique ability to attract your attention with her looks, and then drive you crazy with her constant yelling and distracting of the referee.
Always willing to do whatever it takes to ensure victory for her man, Becky is a top manager on the independent scene.

42. Nicole Matthews
NicoleMatthews_display_image.jpgThe second-half of the Canadian NINJAS tag team, Nicole has been a mainstay with the SHIMMER promotion since 2006.
At the DVD tapings for SHIMMER Vol. 28, she scored a major singles win over Alison Danger and on March 17, 2012, she unsuccessfully challenged Cheerleader Melissa for the SHIMMER championship.
On July 7, she teamed with Portia Perez to win the SHIMMER tag titles for a second time.

41. Cheerleader Melissa
CheerleaderMelissa_display_image.jpgKnown to most wrestling fans as Raisha Saeed during her days with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Melissa has become one of the most recognizable and most decorated women’s wrestlers in the world.
A highly skilled competitor, Melissa captured the prestigious SHIMMER championship, defeating Madison Eagles on Oct. 2, 2011.

40. Lilian Garcia
LilianGarcia_display_image.jpgA long-time ring announcer for World Wrestling Entertainment, Lilian recently made her return to the company after a two-year hiatus. A skilled singer, Lilian is as known for her renditions of the national anthem as she is her ring announcing.
Recently, she has released her second EP, My Time, available now on iTunes and Amazon.

39. Brooke Hogan
hi-res-73189886_display_image.jpgThe daughter of the legendary Hulk Hogan, Brooke has earned her share of criticism for her role as authority figure over the Knockouts division.
Regardless, she has been far better than most thought she would be and does not feel out of place in front of the camera. Only time will tell what kind of impact (pun intended) she has on TNA in the future.
Brother.

38. Winter
Winter_display_image.jpgLike the previously mentioned Sarita, Winter has seen her television time dramatically reduced since Bruce Prichard took over as the creative head of Impact Wrestling.
Before that, she was a dominant Knockout, capturing the Knockouts title and serving as the division’s top villain.
While the future is murky for the British beauty in Impact Wrestling, there is little doubt that she will continue to make her presence felt across the globe.

37. Tara
Tara2_display_image.jpgA multiple-time WWE Women’s and TNA Knockouts Champion, Tara has the resume of a Hall of Famer.
With WWE, she developed into one of the best in-ring workers in North America. In TNA, she has helped develop the constantly growing division.
Now revving up for a program with current Knockouts champion, and real-life best friend Brooke Tessmacher, Tara figures to continue to be one of the top female performers in the sport.

36. Summer Rae
SummerRae1_display_image.jpgA former member of the Lingerie Football League, playing for the Chicago franchise, Summer Rae has made a name for herself in her short stint with Florida Championship Wrestling.
She has been the general manager of the developmental territory and has recently begun her in-ring career.
No one can know for certain what impact she will have on WWE television, if any, but Vince McMahon loves blondes and that bodes well for Summer’s chances.

35. Taeler Hendrix
TaelerHendrix_display_image.jpgThe first and only woman to compete in TNA’s Gut Check competition, Taeler Hendrix elevated herself from indie talent to a member of the second largest professional wrestling company in North America overnight.
With recent departures seemingly opening up space in the Knockouts division for new talent, it will only be a matter of time for the Massachusetts native.

34. Paige
Paige2_display_image.jpgKnown to fans in the United Kingdom as Britani Knight, this 20-year-old second-generation competitor signed a WWE developmental contract in 2011 and debuted with Florida Championship Wrestling shortly thereafter.
One of the more experienced women on the developmental roster, her fans’ expectations are high.

33. Madison Rayne
MadisonRayne1_display_image.jpgThe self-proclaimed “queen” of the TNA Knockouts division now ranks as one of the longest-tenured women in the company.
A multiple-time Knockouts champion, Madison has recently been featured in an on-air relationship with referee Earl Hebner.
With a lack of heel Knockouts on the roster, another program for the title may be in the very near future.

32. Aksana
Aksana_display_image.jpgThe Lithuanian beauty debuted on WWE television as a part of NXT: Season 3 and was featured in a major storyline that featured her marrying Goldust in order to stay in the United States.
Since then, she has cunningly manipulated Teddy Long and aligned herself with the current US Champion Antonio Cesaro.
Now, with Santino Marella’s “cobra” trained on her, Aksana looks to play a major role in the battle over the US title.

31. Leva Bates
LevaBates_display_image.jpgLeva Bates is every fan boy’s favorite female wrestler and for good reason. A self-proclaimed geek and regular performer with the SHIMMER promotion, Leva graduated from the Team 3D wrestling school.
Since then, she has appeared for numerous independent promotions across the country and, most recently, was a part of the debut card for Daffney’s Shine company.

30. Shelly Martinez
Shelly_display_image.jpgWhile many remember Shelly as “Ariel,” the vampire manager of Kevin Thorn during the early days of the ECW reboot but few realize just how long the Chino, Calif., native has been around the business.
Debuting in 2002, she has appeared in the two biggest companies in pro wrestling and has made a name for herself in independent organizations from one coast to the other.
Concentrating on more on outside projects since leaving TNA, Shelly has proven herself to be a multi-talented individual.

29. Daffney
Daffney1_display_image.pngFor nearly 13 years, Daffney has brought uniqueness to women’s wrestling that was missing before she exploded onto televisions across the world with one high-pitched scream in World Championship Wrestling.
Citing Batman villain Harley Quinn as the inspiration for her character, Daffney has unleashed her unstable and ever-so-slightly character on the wrestling world and gained a tremendous cult following as a result.
As a member of the TNA Knockouts division, Daffney reached her largest audience since the days in WCW. Recently, she started her own women’s wrestling promotion, Shine.

28. Jessie McKay
JessieMcKAY_original_display_image.jpgAustralian Jessie McKay has quickly become one of the more popular competitors in the SHIMMER promotion. She is skilled in a number of different wrestling styles, including technical and high-flying.
A tour of the United States in 2008 introduced her to an entirely new fanbase, but Jessie continues to work in her homeland.

27. Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn1_display_image.jpgKaitlyn was thrust onto WWE television as a part of NXT: Season 3 as a replacement for another talent and made the most of her opportunity, winning the competition and earning a spot on the main roster, despite having little to no pro wrestling experience before appearing on the show.
Kaitlyn has learned on the go over the last year and a half, always improving and evolving. Her personality has gained her a strong following of Internet fans and recently, she was awarded a Divas title match, which she will receive at September’s Night of Champions PPV.

26. Natalya
Natalya_display_image.jpgPerhaps the most gifted in-ring worker on today’s roster of WWE Divas, Natalya is a third-generation performer, the daughter of Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart and granddaughter of the late Stu Hart.
A former Divas Champion, Natalya has found it difficult to break through and stand out in the muddled mess that is the current Divas division. She remains a favorite among Internet wrestling fans.

25. Taryn Terrell
TarynTerrell_display_image.jpgLast seen as Tiffany in WWE, this beautiful blonde recently made her debut on Impact Wrestling, serving as a special referee for the Knockouts division.
With experience on the microphone and in backstage segments from her days as the general manager of the rebooted ECW brand, Taryn has the ability to move outside of the ring and contribute in other facets of the TNA television product.

24. Alicia Fox
AliciaFox1_display_image.jpgA member of WWE’s main roster for four years now, Alicia has held the Divas Championship and has proven to be one of the more athletic women on the roster.
Recently, television time has been few and far between for the Florida native but Alicia has served as a tremendous spokeswoman for World Wrestling Entertainment and its interests, such as the Be A Star anti-bullying campaign.

23. Cameron
Cameron_display_image.jpgInfamous for her appearance on WWE Tough Enough and the revelation of her favorite match of all-time (Alicia Fox vs. Melina, for those that missed it), the Funkadactyl managed to make it to WWE’s main roster and now fills the role of dancer for the Funkasaurus himself, Brodus Clay.

22. Audrey Marie
AudreyMarie_display_image.jpgOne of WWE’s top developmental Divas, Audrey has already captured the FCW Divas Championship and has steadily improved her in-ring work since debuting.
Channeling the Mickie James “country girl” character, this Houston native has recently feuded with Raquel Diaz.

21. Veda Scott
VedaScott1_display_image.pngKnown to Ring of Honor fans as the beautiful backstage announcer for ROH TV, Veda Scott trained for in-ring competition under SHIMMER and ROH standout Daizee Haze.
While she has yet to make her mark between the ropes for the third-largest company in North American wrestling, expect big things from this lifelong wrestling fan in the future.

20. Raquel Diaz
RaquelDiaz1_display_image.jpg
The daughter of Vickie and Eddie Guerrero, Raquel Diaz is the most promising developmental Diva in FCW/NXT wrestling. She makes up for her lack of in-ring experience by understanding the performance aspect of sports entertainment.
A former FCW Divas Champion and Queen of FCW, she has accomplished all that there is to accomplish in the developmental territory.
While it remains to be seen what level of success she will have on the big stage of WWE, this third-generation Guerrero certainly has the pedigree to succeed.

19. SoCal Val
SoCalVal_display_image.jpg
Does anyone know what SoCal Val does with TNA? Does anyone care? One of the longest-tenured employees of the No. 2 promotion in sports-entertainment, SoCal Val has long been one of the hottest women in the sport.
A former manager on the independent scene, Val now works as a production assistant with the Dixie Carter-owned company.

18. Naomi
Naomi_display_image.jpg
The runner-up in the NXT: Season 3 competition, Naomi appeared set to debut on WWE television, her athleticism in the ring catching the eye of the WWE fans.
A year-and-a-half passed before Naomi was again seen on WWE TV, this time as one of Brodus Clay’s “Funkadactyls.”
Recently, this former model was applauded for a house-show match against Natalya, where she filled in at the last minute for Kaitlyn. Hopefully, Naomi will have a shot at competing between the ropes sometime soon.

17. Melina Perez
MelinaPerez_display_image.jpg
One of the most decorated Divas in WWE history, Melina has spent the last year competing on the independent circuit, having a number of memorable matches with former TNA Knockout Velvet Sky.
Known for her splits, her primal screams, and her ferocity between the ropes, many expected Melina to land with TNA and bolster their Knockouts division.
While that has not happened, it is not out of the realm of possibility that the former Women’s Champion could find herself competing alongside fellow former Divas Mickie James, Winter and Gail Kim.

16. The Garcia Twins
GarciaTwins_display_image.jpg
You know them as Brie and Nikki, the Bella Twins, but earlier this year, the Garcia twins left World Wrestling Entertainment, in need of a break from the hellish travel demands.
Making the rounds on the convention circuit, enjoying meeting and greeting their fans, it is only a matter of time before the twins invade television screens across the country once more, either with WWE or with one of the other major companies in North America.

15. Mickie James
MickieJames_display_image.jpg
When “Hardcore Country” sounds throughout the Impact Zone, Mickie James is ready to get down to business inside the squared circle.
A multiple time Women’s and Knockouts Champion, Mickie is one of the last remaining women from the pre-model days of women’s professional wrestling.
Now experiencing success in the music industry as well as the pro wrestling business, Mickie has proven herself to be a woman of many talents.

14. Angel Williams
AngelWilliams_display_image.jpg
The former Angelina Love, Williams recently departed Total Nonstop Action Wrestling after five years with the company.
While with the company, she collected multiple Knockouts titles and was among the most popular women in the sport, especially when partnered with Velvet Sky as the Beautiful People.
Now making her way across the country in various independent companies and appearing at many conventions, it remains to be seen if Angel Williams will ever get another shot on national TV again. For her fans’ sake, I hope she does.

13. Beth Phoenix
BethPhoenix_display_image.jpg
The self-proclaimed “Glamazon,” Beth Phoenix has done everything there is to do in WWE. She is a former Women’s and Divas Champion and has beaten every major women’s star to come through the company during her stay.
While the Divas division is made up of former models, Beth has brought a legitimacy to the company’s women’s wrestling and has the resume of a future Hall of Famer.
Whether or not that happens, it will be difficult to argue the impact Beth had on WWE and its less-than-spectacular Divas division.

12. Gail Kim
GailKim1_display_image.jpg
Gail Kim is, perhaps, the most talented female performer in professional wrestling today.
With in-ring skills matched by few, Gail has proven that she can be an effective babyface and heel and has succeeded at carrying the entire TNA Knockouts division on two separate occasions.
While the idiots behind the scenes at WWE decided not to allow her to find success in the Divas division, Dixie Carter’s company has always maximized Gail’s talents and given her the opportunities she has earned.

11. Rosita
Rosita_display_image.jpg
A former Knockouts tag team champion, Rosita made an immediate impact by tagging with Sarita and capturing gold. Since they lost the titles, however, Rosita has been missing from TNA television.
Making only a brief impact during the Eric Young-ODB marriage ceremony, she has instead turned her attention to the independents, where she remains active and popular.

10. Rosa Mendes
RosaMendes_display_image.jpg
This spicy Latina has seen her role on WWE television increase over the last year, becoming the manager of the team of Primo and Epico. A long-tenured Diva, she has been with the company since shortly after the 2006 Diva Search.
Always around, despite not doing much on TV, one has to wonder if Rosa has peaked as a performer with WWE.

9. AJ Lee
AJLee_display_image.jpg
The current Raw General Manager, AJ paid her dues, climbing through the ranks of the independent scene before signing a developmental deal with WWE. From there, she finished third in the NXT competition. A call-up to the main roster nearly a year later netted little result.
Then, she became Daniel Bryan’s girlfriend and her dependent, unstable character took off. She became a breakout star in 2012’s WWE and soon become one of the company’s most popular performers.
A promotion to the authority figure role on the sport’s No. 1 program shows the company’s commitment to AJ and is an indicator of great things to come.

8. Brooke Tessmacher
BrookeTessmacher_display_image.jpg
A casualty of backstage politics in WWE, Brooke made an unlikely ascent as a member of the Knockouts division in TNA, currently enjoying her second reign with the division’s top prize.
Also an accomplished fitness model and Hooters girl, Brooke is easily one of the hottest women in the sport, both in terms of her career’s upward movement and her physical appearance.
The future looks bright for Brooke and fans of the Knockouts division.

7. Layla El
LaylaEl_display_image.jpg
The 2006 Diva Search winner, and current Divas Champion, has worked hard to evolve as a performer throughout her six-year career.
Originally floating around as a dancer in the Extreme Expose trio (which also included fellow Top 50 Hottest Women Kelly Kelly and Brooke Tessmacher), Layla broke free of the mold and became one of wrestling’s top heels, teaming with Michelle McCool in “LayCool,” a Mean Girls-esque duo that propped themselves up by tearing others down.
After the dissolution of the group in 2011, Layla was sidelined with a serious injury. Returning earlier this year, she has been better than ever, the Divas Champion the entire time.

6. Kelly Kelly
KellyKelly_display_image.jpg
Maxim cover girl. A member of the 2012 Maxim Hot 100. The most popular woman in wrestling, prior to the rise of AJ Lee. Divas Champion. Kelly Kelly has accomplished a lot since debuting in 2006 as an “exhibitionist” during the reboot of ECW.
One of the first model hires of John Laurinaitis, not much was expected of the 19-year-old. Six years later, she is WWE’s most marketed Diva. While she is currently taking a break from the road, Kelly remains one of the business’ most visible females.

5. Maryse Ouellet
MaryseOuellet_display_image.jpg
This French-Canadian is a former two-time Divas Champion and, at one point, seemed destined to be the future breakout star of WWE’s Divas division. A cocky, arrogant heel character, Maryse knew she was hot and had no problem flaunting it.
By the time she won her first Divas title in 2008, she was also a rapidly improving professional wrestler. Unfortunately, a knee injury put a halt to her progression and when Maryse returned, she was never the same in the ring as she was prior.
The role of valet and host of NXT did nothing to make her stand out and in 2011, Maryse was granted her release from WWE.

4. Christy Hemme
ChristyHemme_display_image.jpg
The original Diva Search winner, Christy Hemme is the female sports entertainer to sell the most copies of a Playboy magazine in which she was featured on the cover. After unceremoniously being dismissed from WWE in 2005, Christy became a member of the TNA roster.
A manager early, it appeared as though Christy had finally broken out when she impressed in a few encounters with the massive Awesome Kong.
A neck injury ended her in-ring career and Christy became a backstage interviewer and ring announcer for Impact Wrestling, a role she holds to this day.

3. Velvet Sky
VelvetSky_display_image.jpg
The most popular woman in the history of Total Nonstop Action wrestling, Velvet Sky debuted with the company in 2007 and remained there until leaving a few months back.
Known for her crowd-pleasing ring entrance, including her tendency to “let the pigeons loose,” Velvet carved out a very impressive career for herself in the company, amassing Knockouts singles and tag team titles.
She also became a popular merchandise seller over the last year and figures to remain a favorite of fans on the independent scene.

2. Eve Torres
Eve1_display_image.jpg
The 2007 Diva Search winner has become one of the top villainesses in the sport, a scheming assistant to Smackdown’s General Manager, Booker T.
Originally one of the sweetest and most charming women in the company, a heel turn in early 2012 instantly made her one of the most-hated characters on the show.
A former two-time Divas Champion, Eve continues to look for new ways to advance her career, once going as far as to align herself with John Laurinaitis.
Now appearing on NBC’s Stars Earn Stripes, Eve remains one of the most media-friendly Superstars in World Wrestling Entertainment.

1.    Maria Kanellis
MariaKanellis1_display_image.jpg
The self-proclaimed “First Lady of Ring of Honor,” this former WWE Diva was one of the most popular during her days with the company.
A Playboy cover girl and inaugural Diva Search competitor, Maria made her debut in the business in 2004 and remained a WWE employee until 2010, when she was unceremoniously released from her contract.
Always bubbly and personable, she filled whatever role was given to her, including that of a ditzy blond interviewer, despite being considered fairly intelligent off-screen.
Now serving as valet for real-life boyfriend “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett in Ring of Honor wrestling, Maria continues to entertain fans around the world.
