John Cena Debuts New Look In Japan With Zubaz Pants (Photos)

Regarding John Cena’s “new look” that he donned while on tour in Japan, it won’t be a permanent thing for his character. Many wrestlers have wore the Zubaz pants while touring in Japan and Cena seemed to take a page out of that semi-tradition. Afterward, Cena and other wrestlers went to the Ribera Steak House and ordered big steaks, something that Hulk Hogan, The Funk’s, the Road Warriors, and Bruiser Brody did in the 1980s, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

On Twitter, Cena wrote the following: “Had a great time in japan. Second night was throwback night. All hail “the dangerous man” Doug Bloodstone!”

Site contributor Hiroaki Kawafuji attended the WWE house show in Yokohama, Japan today and sent in the following results and notes from the live event:

(1) Zack Ryder defeated Jack Swagger. The crowds chanted “Let’s go Ryder”. Ryder hit Rough rider for the win.

(2) Santino Marella defeated William Regal. Santino hit the Cobra for the win.

(3) Alex Riley defeated Primo. The crowds chant “Let’s go Riley”. Riley hit spinebuster and Hit The Showers for the win.

(4) Dolph Ziggler defeated Drew McIntyre and Mason Ryan to retain the US Title. Ryan hit full nelson buster to McIntyre and tried to cover but Ziggler prevented. Ziggler cover McIntyre for the win. After the match, Ryan hit full nelson buster to Ziggler. The crowds chant “USA”.

(5) Kelly Kelly pinned Beth Phoenix. Former WWE Superstar Funaki come out as special guest referee. Kelly Kelly rolled up for the win. After the match, The Miz come out to the ring and hit scale crashing finale to Funaki.

(6) John Cena & Big Show defeated The Miz & Kevin Nash. Cena hit the Atittude Adjustment to Miz for the win. After the match, Cena and Big Show celebrated.

(7) CM Punk defeated Alberto Del Rio to retain the WWE Title. Punk hit GTS for the win. After the match, Punk did high-five with Takayama. Takayama raised up Punk’s arm on the air.
