Kevin Nash Says He’ll Be On WWE RAW Tomorrow

In a Twitter posting this evening, Kevin Nash noted that he is “packing [his] wrestling gear” for tomorrow night’s broadcast of RAW from Tampa, Florida. “Made up my mind, packing my wresteling gear. Someones getting a beat down in Tampa tomorrow night on Raw,” he wrote today.

Both Nash and Triple H were scheduled for tomorrow’s RAW as of this weekend, but the latter of the two has since been pulled from advertising of the show among speculation that their planned match at the TLC pay-per-view has been scrapped or delayed until 2012.

Ex-WWE Diva Maria Kanellis Takes A Shot At The Bella Twins

During AfterBuzzTV.com’s post-show for Monday’s Raw SuperShow, former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis took a Triple H-like swipe at former colleagues Nikki and Brie Bella.

Former WWE creative writer Jensen Karp recalled producing a backstage segment involving the word “labiagytis” (on the May 1, 2006 Raw, Candice Michelle asked Vince McMahon in he could cure her labiagytis after he had cured her chest cold). While the program hosts segued to discussion over the Divas tag team match on Raw, Kanellis quipped, “Speaking of labiagytis, The Bellas…”

Kanellis then joked that she was merely kidding, but that she “couldn’t help it.”

This is not Kanellis’ first swipe towards the twin duo on the discussion program as she implied on October 10, 2011 that they once shared a hot tub with John Laurinaitis, referring them as “two Divas who look alike.” She took another veiled shot at the Bellas’ promiscuity the following week, which featured Nikki and Brie flirting with WWE’s Executive Vice President of Talent Relations in a backstage segment.

While segueing, Kanellis said, “And the Bella Twins were in the back with Johnny, moving on…”

New Bella Twins/Alberto Del Rio Storyline?, WWE ’12 Video Game Sales, Rock

WWE’s website features a new article on The Bella Twins getting romantic with Alberto Del Rio. The twins tease that they will have to get rid of Ricardo Rodriguez because he always gets in the way. Brie Bella won a chance to kiss any Superstar she wants on last week’s SmackDown in the Mistletoe Match.

F4WOnline.com is reporting that the WWE ’12 video game has sold roughly 350,000 copies in North America thus far.

WrestleMania 28 participant, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has begun filming his new movie Snitch this weekend.

John Morrison WWE Contract Clarification, Triple H Pulled From Tomorrow’s RAW

In an update to John Morrison’s contract, PWInsider.com reports that he doesn’t have a no-compete clause in his contract and is therefore free to join any promotion he would like.

Advertised for tomorrow’s WWE RAW broadcast from Tampa, Florida is John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio vs CM Punk in a WWE Championship dark match as well as a 41-man battle royal. Triple H, who was originally scheduled for the show, is no longer being advertised. This tidbit suggests that as reported previously, the Triple H vs Kevin Nash feud may have been sidelined or delayed for now.

Backstage Talk Of Changing Look Of WWE Title, Cody Rhodes & Booker T Wrestle

In an update to the tweet that John Cena sent last week noting that the WWE Championship template should be changed, along with a WWE.com story being published, the Wrestling Globe reports that there is talk backstage of indeed changing the look of the championship. One hesitation, however, is that the current belt remains a hot-seller within the company, but not as popular as when it was first introduced under John Cena in 2007.

Cody Rhodes and Booker T wrestled twice over the weekend at the Friday and Saturday SmackDown! live events. Booker T ended up winning both bouts via disqualification when Rhodes ended the match after hit Booker with his Intercontinental Title. Hornswoggle then came out to the ring and hit a Tadpole Splash on Booker and did the spin-a-roonie with Booker.

Mick Foley Interview: Returning To The Ring, The Rock vs John Cena, WWE ’12

http://wrestleheat.com/wp-admin/media-upload.php?type=image&tab=library&post_id=12003&post_mime_type=&s=mick&m=0#Mick Foley, who has been making the media rounds as of late, recently spoke to Jon Robinson of ESPN on Friday to promote the WWE ’12 video game. Foley once again talks about a possible return to the ring, his recent return to WWE, and The Rock vs John Cena at WrestleMania 28. Below are a few highlightS:

Jon Robinson: I asked about your legacy living on in video games, but when you back throughout your career, what do you think is the legacy you left in the world of professional wrestling?

Mick Foley: Most people would say it’s the Hell in a Cell match from 1998. The fact that I’m still being asked about it on a daily basis means that it’s not going away anytime soon. But hopefully in the locker room, I’m remembered for treating other people well, and for how inside the ring I was a guy who worked hard and exceeded expectations.

Jon Robinson: Are you excited to be back in the WWE mix and making appearances for the company?

Mick Foley: Yeah, I’m very excited about it. The other night I was on Raw as Santa Claus, then the next night I was hosting Smackdown. I think WWE has a lot of ways to utilize a guy like me without taking up too much television time on a weekly basis or doing any wrestling at all.

Jon Robinson: Are you hoping for one last big match at Wrestlemania, or are you officially done wrestling at this point in your life?

Mick Foley: Well, I’ve learned to never say never. I said never back in 2000 and realized that’s a tough promise to keep. I’ve noticed, especially in the last few weeks, that there are so many good, young performers in WWE who are all hitting their stride about the same time, and it might be nice to have a match with one of those guys. I would love if I could end up in one of their books down the line when they talk about their favorite matches.

Jon Robinson: When you look at the Wrestlemania main event between The Rock and John Cena, do you think John Cena can live up to the match? Is he on the same level as Rock?

Mick Foley: Oh sure, yeah. John has been the face of the company for several years. Even if half the audience verbally dislikes him, the other half is still a larger number of fans than just about anybody in WWE history has been able to get. The thing about John is, he’s a workhorse, and he’s got such a great attitude. I’ll tell you, that reaction he gets from the crowd, that would rattle anybody else in the business except him. The fact that he’s able to roll with the punches and not take it personally is a pretty strong testament to the type of guy he is.

WWE RAW Ticket Info For RAW After WrestleMania 28, Evan Bourne Makes Return

In addition to the return of Skip Sheffield, Evan Bourne returned to action at Saturday’s RAW live event in Florida, losing to Dolph Ziggler. Bourne’s thirty-day suspension for his first violation of WWE’s Talent Wellness Program expired Wednesday.

WWE ring announcer Justin Roberts announced at the live event that tickets for the April 2, 2012 RAW SuperShow at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida go sale next Saturday via Ticketmaster. A pre-sale takes place Wednesday. This is the RAW that airs the night after WrestleMania 28 just a few miles away at the Sun Life Stadium.

Skip Sheffield Makes WWE Return At Live Event

At a WWE live event tonight from the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, former NXT star Skip Sheffield returned to the company, defeating Alex Riley. Sheffield has been out of action since he broke his ankle at a house show in Hawaii in August of 2010.

Prior to his injury, he was in line for a big push. At the time, we reported that Vince McMahon considered him to be the future of the company and believed he could be a top babyface similarly to John Cena.

Last week, Sheffield was removed from the official roster page of WWE.com. While it’s not known at this point what Sheffield was named at tonight’s event, he told a fan recently that he would be re-introduced in the company under the name “Ryback,” which WWE recently trademarked.
