03-05: WWE Raw SuperShow results : The VIPER Hisss on The MoNSTER

Shawn Michaels came out to start the show, making his way to the ring after pyro and slapping fans' hands. He said things got heated between he and HHH weeks ago, but that's all water under the bridge now. He wants to find out why HHH changed his mind about facing The Undertaker. Triple H came out dressed in a business suit to respond.

Michaels talked about how he took shots that were below the belt at HHH to try to get him to face Taker again, but HHH didn't buckle. He called Triple H a man of honor and integrity. After the footage from last week was shown of Taker suggesting to HHH that maybe he thinks HBK is the better wrestler, HHH finally spoke in the ring.

He told Michaels he's sick of all the talk behind his back by Taker and others about how HBK wasn't good enough to end the streak. He said Michaels is the greatest in-ring performer of all time and he doesn't like seeing him as a loser. HBK sarcastically thanked him for all that, and said it hurt him to admit he couldn't get it done and then see HHH dominate Taker at Mania last year. Michaels said this year at Hell in a Cell he knows who's going to win and he'll be right. Michaels went to ring, before pausing and coming back to say he's the special guest referee for the match at WM28.

Santino Marella defeated Jack Swagger by pinfall to become the new United States champion. Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler were at ringside. John Laurinaitis and David Otunga arrived during the match. Eventually, the man in charge tonight, Teddy Long, came out with Kofi Kingston and girlfriend Aksana. They confronted Laurinaitis and Otunga as Raw went to break. Late in the match, Santino had the Cobra sock on and used it to strike down Ziggler from the apron. Vickie got on the other apron and Santino went for her, but she dropped off. Aksana rushed over and shoved Vickie to the floor. Swagger put the Ankle Lock on Santino, but Santino managed to flip him into the turnbuckle then did a schoolboy pinfall to win the match.

Post-match, Teddy Long and Laurinaitis argued about who's show it was. Long called security out to escort JL and Otunga away from the arena.

They had a segment with The Rock outside near Boston harbor from earlier in the day. He gave his first history lesson of the night about the Boston Tea Party and chucked various John Cena memorabilia, wristbands, cologne and other items into the water behind him. He told someone to go clean up the Cena trash from the water.

Eve Torres defeated Alicia Fox by pinfall. Eve scored a quick rollup and held Alicia's legs down to secure the win. Kelly Kelly was at ringside on commentary with Cole and Lawler and stared down Eve post-match.

Zack Ryder showed up to cut a quick promo. He walked out on the ramp with a cane and said he's glad he never hooked up with Eve, because Bro-ski's before Hoe-ski's. Later backstage, Eve caught up with Zack and said she had something to say, then planted a passionate kiss on him. Zack was shocked by it and smiled as Eve rushed off.

John Cena was shown sitting in the stands in the empty Boston arena before Raw. He talked about how big his match with Dwayne Johnson will be at WM28. He talked about how The Rock's the most successful superstar ever in the history of WWE. He spoke about how he doesn't just intend to show up at Mania, but to win. He said Boston is the "city of champions" and brought up the Patriots near undefeated season which was ruined by the Giants in the Superbowl. Cena said nobody remembers 2nd place. He also suggested that WM28 will break ever record in the history of WWE and no one will remember second place. He said that's why he needs to win and why Mania is so important, because it's his legacy on the line. Cena was shown staring up at the Wrestlemania 28 banner in the empty arena as the segment ended.

Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho defeated CM Punk and Sheamus by pinfall. Late in the match, Punk hurt his back, but gained control against Bryan. He hit the Macho Man elbow drop from the corner, but Bryan kicked out of the pinfall. Things broke down late in the match, with Jericho and Punk winding up legal in the ring. Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho, but Punk countered to a pinfall, but Jericho rolled through for the winning pinfall. Jericho rushed out of the ring and picked up the WWE championship belt smiling at Punk in the ring. He took the belt and shoved it under the ropes at a seated and dejected Punk.

The Rock gave history lesson #2 in front of a statue of Paul Revere, talking about Revere yelling "the British are coming." He said what if it was this guy yelling and showed a cardboard standup cutout of Cena. He talked about how much things would suck now if Cena was Revere. Rock said he would have to travel back in time to kick Cena's ass. Rock gave his own version of "Yankee Doodle" featuring how he stuck a feather up Cena's ass and called him a jabroni.

The Big Show defeated The Miz by pinfall. Cody Rhodes arrived out before the match could start to show a highlight clip of Big Show from Wrestlemania X8. He wasn't at the event, but instead at the WWE restaurant eating and riling up fans. That only angered Show more, as he eventually speared Miz down and then hit him with the WMD for the win. Rhodes sneered about the result as he stared down at the ring where Show held a fist up and pointed at the WM28 banner.

History lesson #3 from The Rock came outside the Massachussetts State House in front of the Boston Common. He talked about the Americans fighting for their independence. Rock said that spirit lives inside of him. Rock said something else is going to be overthrown, when he overthrows John Cena at Wrestlemania 28 after 10 years of him being shoved in the fans' faces.

They announced that Shawn Michaels will appear to confront The Undertaker on next week's Raw in Cleveland, Ohio.

Kane defeated R-Truth by pinfall. Truth made a comeback with an elbow from the corner and went for the scissors kick to finish Kane, but Kane avoided it. Kane came back with the big chokeslam to win it. Post-match, Kane made the pyro explode from the ringposts. Suddenly, Randy Orton's music hit and The Viper stormed down the ramp. Kane turned to leave the ring, but R-Truth grabbed his leg and held onto him. Orton got in the ring and hit the RKO on Kane as Truth rolled out of the ring. Orton got a mic and crouched down near Kane then said "It's good to be back," before leaving the ring.

John Cena arrived out to mixed reaction in his home arena of the TD Garden. He looked at the camera and said it's the "home of Larry Bird, Wade Boggs, and John Cena, can you believe that?"

Cena talked about The Rock's history lessons likening them to infomercials, asking fans to decipher what Rock was really saying. He said Rock keeps talking about his penis and how many women he's had sex with. Cena asked if he's facing The Rock at Mania or "Jersey Shore" star The Situation. Cena said after he came out to confront Rock last week, Rock seemed shaken up and couldn't find his words.

Cena talked about what he was wearing and how ridiculous he looks. He said despite all that Rock was shaken by him. He also said lately Rock's best stuff has been pre-recorded or by satellite. Cena said he needs to know who he's facing at Mania, the man who talks about Chinese takeout for 20 mins, or the greatest superstar ever in the history of WWE. Cena demanded "The Rock" to come out there because he doesn't want to see the alternative in the ring.

The Rock's music hit and out came Dwayne Johnson staring down towards Cena in the ring. He got in the ring and paced around with a mic in hand keeping eye contact with Cena. Rock said he sees fear in Cena's eyes that he's taking everything away from him from the past 10 years. Rock said he sees right through him and questioned Cena if he really thinks he shook his confidence. A "Boots 2 Asses" chant started up to pause Rock's speech.

A "Tooth Fairy" chant started up which allowed Cena to ask even though they're near Tewksbury Mass, he wanted to make sure they were chanting "Tooth Fairy." Rock said at his core he's a man who will whoop his ass, and at Cena's core he'll always be a little boy that will go down in history as "The Rock's bitch." Rock said what he had to say then left the ring, mic in hand.

Cena said Rock's height and weight don't intimidate him. He said Rock's lost his damn mind if he thinks he's scared of him. Cena said at Wrestlemania he's the son of a bitch who's going to make history by whooping Rock's ass. Cena went to do a pose on the ring corner, then waved it off and dove under the ropes. He rushed over the crowd barrier and jumped into a bunch of fans to celebrate, then took a drink from one of their beers before going back in the ring to pose more.

Cena went over to hug his dad, and kiss his wife, and introduce his brother-in-law on camera as Raw ended.

03-02: SmackDown results: Kane crushes Orton's quest for payback

SEATTLE – While seeking vengeance on World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan for knocking him out of a WrestleMania opportunity two weeks ago, Randy Orton suddenly found himself sucked into a "Big Red" nightmare.

World
Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton by Count-out
(WATCH | PHOTOS)
After Daniel Bryan attacked Randy Orton on the Feb. 13 edition of Raw SuperShow (WATCH) – thereby denying him his spot in the SmackDown Elimination
Chamber Match, a possible World Heavyweight Title and a chance to headline WrestleMania – WWE's Apex Predator
returned to SmackDown on a venomous quest of retribution.

In the punishing encounter that ensued Friday night, Bryan managed to escape two
RKO’s before retreating outside the ring, with The Viper fast on his tail. However,
just as Orton was about to deliver a devastating DDT onto the ringside floor, the vicious Kane suddenly
emerged. Seizing the unexpected opportunity, Bryan hurled Orton into the steel ring post before jumping through the ropes to win the match by count-out.

Without skipping a beat, The Big Red Monster and WWE’s Apex Predator began
an intense post-match brawl, one which culminated in Orton receiving an earth-shattering chokeslam to the canvas. Seizing the mic, the sadistic Kane leaned down toward the battle-worn Viper and eerily stated, "Welcome back."

Moments before SmackDown went off the air, an observing John Laurinaitis - who will assume the duties of SmackDown GM next Friday (STORY) - alluded that he may put
Kane in a match against Theodore Long's girlfriend, Aksana. (WATCH)

Justin
Gabriel def. Drew McIntyre
(WATCH | PHOTOS)
Shortly after SmackDown General Manager Theodore
Long warned Drew McIntyre that he must win under the threat of being fired (WATCH),
the Scottish Superstar took on Justin Gabriel. Unfortunately for The Chosen One, his high-flying opponent triumphed over him with the 450 Splash, and Long made good on his promise, giving McIntyre the long-awaited heave-ho.

Big
Show def. Mark Henry
(WATCH | PHOTOS)
Once again, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes emerged to make fun of Big Show's 3-8 WrestleMania record, claiming that
by costing the giant an opportunity to go to The Show of Shows at Elimination Chamber, he “saved” him from “floundering” yet again.

When The
World’s Largest Athlete joined him in the ring, however, Rhodes quickly exited into the crowd. Before Show could pursue him, Theodore Long put a stop to it,
announcing that the two adversaries would face off for the Intercontinental
Championship at WrestleMania. (MATCH PREVIEW)

Then, as Rhodes sat in with the SmackDown announce team, Big Show battled Mark Henry in the ring. Charged with the prospect of impending WrestleMania redemption, the gigantic Superstar kicked out of the World’s Strongest Slam, then landed the
WMD to reign supreme over the former World Heavyweight Champion.

Eve def. Natalya (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Prior to their match, Natalya confronted Eve to give
her opinion on the situation with Zack Ryder, and she truly “let things rip.” (WATCH). Nevertheless, in the intense Divas contest that followed, Eve rose above the stink, reversing the third-generation Diva’s pin attempt for the quick
three-count.

Santino
Marella def. Heath Slater
(WATCH | PHOTOS)
Heath Slater climbed to the
top turnbuckle, confident that he was about to deliver an arial attack that would ground Santino for the three-count. But then The Italian Stallion backed into the ropes, inadvertently causing his
opponent to fall. Thinking on his feet, Santino quickly dropped The One Man
Southern Rock Band with the Cobra for another huge win.

Confronted by
Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis, Theodore Long made a huge announcement
(WATCH)
With "Mr. Excitement" taking control of SmackDown next Friday and Theodore Long running Raw SuperShow, Long informed his fellow GM that this coming Monday night, David Otunga will face The Great Khali!

Sheamus
def. Dolph Ziggler
(WATCH | PHOTOS)
While Sheamus informed the WWE Universe of his
plans to teach World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan some humility at
WrestleMania, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler
interrupted. In the current question of who should be the General Manager of Raw and SmackDown, the outspoken pair threw their support behind Interim Raw GM John Laurinaitis, insulting GM Theodore Long in the process.

Moments later, Teddy put The
Showoff into an impromptu match with Sheamus. Although United States Champion Jack Swagger’s attempted interference was met head-on with with The Great White’s fierce Brogue Kick, Ziggler
nearly scored the upset victory on the No. 1 contender to the World Heavyweight Title. The Celtic Warrior recovered, however, and silenced his cocky adversary with White Noise for an impressive victory.

02-27: WWE Raw SuperShow results: From The Best Ones to The Great Ones

PORTLAND - With The Road to WrestleMania fully underway, The Rock returned to Raw SuperShow to address his WrestleMania opponent John Cena. Also, the tension between SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long and Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis continued to intensify with rumors circulating about the state of both brands. Also, the rivalry between Chris Jericho and WWE Champion CM Punk reaches a boiling point with both Superstars ready to prove who is the best in the world.

The Rock addressed the WWE Universe (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The Great One returned to WWE Raw SuperShow to remind the WWE Universe that without them, The Rock would never exist. The Brahama Bull then turned his attention to his WrestleMania XXVIII opponent John Cena. The Rock had many choice words for John Cena and whenever he hurled an insult at his WrestleMania opponent, the Portland crowd would chant in unison. The Great One explained to John Cena that he was fighting for the people and that he lived to entertain the people. As The People's Champion continued, John Cena made his way to the ring to counter The Rock's insults and fire back his own. When Cena left, The Rock said it didn't matter what Cena said, at WrestleMania, both Superstars would put everything on the line. To watch The Rock's address, play the video above.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels will return to WWE Raw SuperShow next week!

The Board of Directors will have a special announcement about Raw SuperShow and SmackDown at 10 AM EST on WWE.com

Sheamus & Big Show def. Mark Henry & Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Before the contest began, Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes took the opportunity to mock Big Show and remind him of his loss to the 150-pound boxer Floyd Mayweather at WrestleMania XXIV (WATCH). As Rhodes and Big Show prepared to start the match, the Intercontinental Champion immediately tagged in Mark Henry. The World's Strongest Man didn't even have a chance to enter the ring before The World's Largest Athlete unleashed his fury. Mark Henry never had a chance to recover as he was run over by Big Show. However, Big Show turned his attention to Cody Rhodes who left ringside and retreated up the entrance ramp. This allowed Henry a chance to recover, but Sheamus tagged himself in and took down The World's Strongest Man with a powerful Brogue Kick for the win.

Eve addressed the WWE Universe (PHOTOS | WATCH)
One week after revealing that she used Zack Ryder, Eve addressed the WWE Universe and explained that she is "a woman in a man's world." She explained that she has no problem using men to achieve her goals. She implored the WWE Universe not to blame her for her natural strengths, but to blame their weaknesses.

After she left the ring, Kelly Kelly confronted Eve and asked her what has gotten into her. Eve responded by laughing in Kelly's face and walking away.

Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis argued over rumors about the leadership of Raw and SmackDown

WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico def. Kofi Kingston & R-Truth and Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger (PHOTOS)
In perhaps their most impressive WWE Tag Team Championship defense yet, Primo & Epico managed to defeat two formidable teams in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match. Early on in the contest, Kofi Kingston's fast-paced offense seemed to be too much for his opponents to handle. However, in a contest with so many talented Superstars and strong pairings, no one could maintain momentum for too long. Each tag team seemed poised to outdo the other on their way to the tag team titles. However, Primo & Epico's teamwork was what ultimately led them to victory leaving the WWE Universe with no doubt as to why they are the WWE Tag Team Champions.

The celebration for Primo & Epico was short-lived as the entrance way exploded in a burst of fire and Kane made his return to Raw SuperShow. The Big Red Monster made his way to the ring and laid out every Superstar involved in the contest. Although Primo & Epico retained their titles, an enraged Kane spread his message of hate at their expense.

John Cena def. The Miz (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Nearly a year removed from their epic clash at WrestleMania XXVII, John Cena battled The Miz on WWE Raw Supershow. Before the contest was underway, The Miz needed to get something off his chest. The Miz claimed that no one has worked harder than he has, but yet he is upset because he does not have a match at WrestleMania. The Miz was fully prepared to prove he was ready for WrestleMania by defeating the same Superstar he defeated at The Show of Shows last year.

When The Awesome One was done talking, the opening bell rang and the two Superstars immediately collided. Both Cena and The Miz has something at stake in this contest. Somewhere, The Rock was watching John Cena's every move, no doubt studying Cena's style and strategy. For The Miz, this was a great opportunity for him to prove he is ready to main event another WrestleMania. Momentum swings were fairly even in the contest, but Cena's offensive continually proved to be much more effective. Following an Attitude Adjustment, Cena locked Miz in the STF for the victory.

As Cena celebrated his victory, The Rock appeared on the TitanTron and simply waved his hand across his face, mocking his WrestleMania opponent.

Kelly Kelly def. Nikki Bella (PHOTOS | WATCH)
No doubt thinking about the recent actions of her friend Eve, Kelly Kelly squared off against Nikki Bella on WWE Raw SuperShow. The lovely Divas battled back and forth and each showed off impressive displays of athleticism. As Kelly Kelly built a fair amount of momentum, Brie Bella tried to distract the blonde bombshell, perhaps attempting Twin Magic. Kelly knocked Brie off the apron, but was rolled up by Nikki. However, Kelly Kelly proved why she is one of WWE's top Divas and reversed the pin into one of her own to secure the victory.

WWE Champion CM Punk vs. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH)

Not to be outdone by SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long, Executive Vice
President of Talent Relations and Interim General Manager of Raw John Laurinaitis
decided to kick-off the final WWE Raw of February with a rematch between WWE
Champion CM Punk and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. After Chris
Jericho and CM Punk's heated exchange, Bryan made his way to the ring. A
distraction from Mr. Laurinaitis before the opening bell allowed Bryan the
early advantage but CM Punk quickly ran the World Champion out of the ring.

With the match officially underway, the WWE Universe was treated to
another competitive match-up between WWE's best. The action spilled in and
out of the ring under the close observation of both General Managers.
However, both Punk and Jericho seemed to know each others style of
competition very well. With both champions reeling from a collision
inside the ring, chaos ensued on the outside. Santino Marella and David
Otunga found themselves in a minor skirmish that was broken up by Mr.
Laurinaitis. As Teddy Long, Laurinaitis and the official argued on the
outside, Daniel Bryan tried to make an escape.

As the World
Heavyweight Champion walked up the entrance ramp, Sheamus attacked,
tossing Bryan back in the ring. This assist from The Celtic Warrior
allowed the WWE Champion to execute the GTS on Daniel Bryan. However,
before the official could make the count, Mr. Laurinaitis ran in the
ring and prevented Punk's victory. This resulted in a confrontation
between Laurinaitis and Long. With the match seemingly called off, CM
Punk walked away from the ring. As he proudly displayed his title, the
WWE Champion was brutally attacked by Chris Jericho.

Chris Jericho confronted WWE Champion CM Punk (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Ready for his Champion vs. Champion rematch against World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, WWE Champion CM Punk was faced with his WrestleMania XXVIII opponent Chris Jericho. WWE's first-ever Undisputed Champion had one message for CM Punk: Chris Jericho is "the best in the world at what he does." However, as Jericho ranted, pleading his case, CM Punk remained unfazed and went on the attack. Claiming that Jericho has a "Napoleon complex," The Voice of the Voiceless questioned if Jericho wasn't trying to prove to the WWE Universe that he was the best in the world, but trying to prove it to himself.

Jericho continued to claim that even while he was away on "Dancing With the Stars," he would watch Punk rip him off. Yet Punk countered that all Jericho ever had to do was challenge him at WrestleMania rather than attack him on Raw. Punk ended the confrontation promising that he would remain WWE Champion and the two Superstars could put on the "greatest wrestling match in WrestleMania history."

Theodore Long started it again!

Then, with both determined General Managers at ringside, the
explosive match ended with both Superstars pinning each other at the same time.

Sheamus def. The Miz (WATCH | PHOTOS)

The Miz emerged at the start of SuperSmackDown LIVE, congratulating his
one-time NXT Rookie World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, for main-eventing the
upcoming WrestleMania. But, Sheamus soon interrupted to put a
stop to their buddy fest. After Bryan slapped The Great White and exited the
ring, Miz took the opportunity to attack The Celtic Warrior from behind. For
his trouble, Sheamus expelled him from the ring.

As a result of their
altercation, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long made a match between
Sheamus and Miz. After a tremendous showdown, the No.
1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship hurled his prey to the canvas
for the three-count.
