12/18 WWE TLC (Tables,Laddes & Chairs) 2011 Results : Daniel Bryan cashes In


United States Championship


Zack Ryder vs Dolph Ziggler (c) (w/ Vickie Guerrero)



Dolph shoves Zack to the mat but Zack comes back with some hiptosses, then Dolph elbows him in the head but misses a clothesline and Zack slingshots him into the corner. Zack clotheslines him out of the ring then hits a somersault dive, and follows it by slamming Dolph's head on the apron but Dolph DDT's him on the apron. Zack makes it back in the ring at the count of eight, and Dolph connects with a neckbreaker then hits ten quick elbow drops and taunts the fans. He picks up Zack and throws a punch then whips him off the ropes and hits an elbow then puts Zack in a headlock. Zack tries to get out of it so Dolph slams his head on the mat and puts him in a chinlock, but Zack makes it back to his feet and punches his way out of the hold and whips Dolph in the corner.



Dolph counters Zack and drops him with an inverted fireman's carry slam, then goes to the corner but Zack knocks him down and hits a dropkick off the middle turnbuckle for two. Zack hits some clotheslines and a facebuster, then hits a flying discus punch and the Broski Boot and makes the cover, but Vickie puts Dolph's foot on the bottom rope. The ref catches her and throws her out, and Zack tries to roll up Dolph but he kicks out then snaps Zack's head on the top rope. He hits a legdrop bulldog but Zack kicks out and avoids the Zig Zag, but Dolph comes back with a dropkick and goes to the top rope, and Zack cuts him off and hits a hurricanrana. Dolph launches him into the ringpost and tries to pull the tights for the win, but Zack kicks out then hits a knee smash in the corner and hits the Rough Ryder for the win.

WWE Tag Team Championship


Epico & Primo (w/ Rosa Mendes) vs Air Boom (c)



Epico gets taken down with a spinning headscissors then Kofi hits a double dropkick, but Primo hits him then whips him into the corner and tries to monkey flip Kofi. He lands on his feet then Primo and Epico throw Bourne out of the ring and quick tag each other to keep him grounded in their corner. Bourne gets up and kicks his way out of a headlock and dives to make the tag but Epico catches him on his shoulder and throws him to the mat. He hits a backbreaker and follows it with three consecutive belly-to-back suplexes then mocks Kofi on the apron. Bourne fights out of a crucifix submission hold and knocks down Epico, then crawls and makes the tag to Kofi as Primo is also tagged. Kofi knocks Epico to the floor then hits the Boom Drop and sets up for Trouble In Paradise, but Primo avoids it so Kofi hits a springboard cross body drop. Epico tries to come in but Bourne throws him out of the ring the dives on him from the top rope as Kofi whips Primo into the ropes and hits Trouble In Paradise to retain.



Winners - Air Boom



Booker T and Alicia Fox were shown talking together and she asks if he is ready for his match, but Cody Rhodes attacks him from behind and kicks him until referees stop him. Cody sarcastically wishes him a Merry Christmas and runs off then Josh Mathews is shown in front of the trainer's office and says Booker is not cleared to compete and their match will not take place unless they are given a better update.



Teddy Long is shown dancing in his office and decorating a Christmas tree, when Hornswoggle comes in and says he doesn't want to dress like an elf because he is not a little boy. He also tells Teddy that he has never seen a black Santa Claus, but Teddy says he never had a jolly old white man come to his house. He tells Teddy he has a beard and 'matured testes', then Teddy says he doesn't have to wear the costume but tells him that he was not cool with Hornswoggle trying to jive talk last week. Teddy tells him he got him a present and hands him a copy of Rosetta Stone Ebonics, and Hornswoggle thanks him then kicks him in the 'ornaments' and runs away laughing.


Tables Match


Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett



Wade and Orton slug it out until Orton knocks him to the mat and stomps him, then leaves to go get a table but Wade kicks it into his face and throws him into the apron. Wade brings the table onto the apron, but Orton kicks it into his head then busts him open and slams his head off the ring steps. Wade tries to head up the ramp and Orton cuts him off, but Wade elbows him then kicks a table away and tries to hit a pump handle slam into another one. Orton slides out and Wade knocks the table over so he doesn't go through it, and Orton brings him back to ringside and tries to suplex him off the steps and through a table. 



Wade counters then hits a big boot on the floor, then slides a table into the ring and sets another one up on the floor and Orton punches him in the head. Wade slams his head off the table then lays Orton on it and goes to the top turnbuckle but Orton rolls away so Wade jumps down and throws him into the side of the ring. He rolls Orton back inside and hits a diving elbow drop, then chokes Orton on the ropes and drives his knee into Orton's head and chest. Wade sees the position of the table on the floor and hits a big boot that knocks Orton outside, but Orton holds the ropes and lands on the apron instead.



Wade sets a table up in the corner and tries to throw Orton through it, but Orton slides out and fights with Wade on the apron and avoids Wasteland and hits a hanging DDT. Orton sets up for a RKO but Wade shoves him into the corner and hits a spinning side slam, then throws the table on Orton and sets it up in the middle of the ring. He picks Orton up and lays him on the table, then goes to the middle turnbuckle and jumps off but Orton pops up and hits a mid air RKO to send Wade through the table and wins the match.



Winner - Randy Orton


The Bella Twins are shown sitting on Teddy Long's lap and they are arguing over who gets a gift and they each say the other has been bad. Teddy tells them not to worry because they have both been bad, but it is a time for giving and he hands them each a card. He says it's his direct phone line in case they want to play some reindeer games, but they slap him and leave while Jack Swagger comes in. Swagger says Teddy is a bad GM and a terrible Santa, and asks him if he will let Mark Henry get away with hitting him with a steel chair. Teddy says he is in charge and Swagger gets mad, then Sheamus comes in and wishes them both a Merry Christmas. He says he has an idea and tells them he has an early Christmas gift for everyone, then makes an impromptu match between the two of them tonight. 



Divas Championship


Kelly Kelly vs Beth Phoenix (c)



Beth yells at Kelly to try and hit her, then takes a swing at her but Kelly blocks it and slaps her back, then throws Beth outside and dives on to her. Kelly slams her head off the apron then ties her up in a reversed Tarantula, but Beth comes back with some elbows to the back. Kelly grabs the ropes but Beth pulls her by the legs and slams her head on the mat, then Kelly counters a bodyslam and slams Beth's head off the mat. Kelly dives at her in the corner but Beth hits a spinebuster for two, then punches Kelly in the head a few times and goes up to the top rope. Beth misses a legdrop and Kelly goes for the K2, then Beth counters and tries to hit a Glam Slam but Kelly rolls through and gets a two count. They trade a few pin attempts then Kelly tries to hit a hurricanrana, but Beth blocks it and hits an electric chair drop and crawls over to Kelly and makes the cover.



Winner - Beth Phoenix



Alberto Del Rio is shown yelling at Ricardo for not having his car ready for his entrance, then tells him to go get him some food and Miz comes up behind him. He says they took out Punk for the greater good, but their alliance is dead and Alberto says he was just using him, but Miz says Alberto had a crappy title reign. Miz says he beat John Cena at Wrestlemania while Alberto lost to Edge, but Alberto calls him a stupid little boy and says he is a joke from a reality TV show. Alberto tells him he could not even take on Ricardo, then Ricardo comes back with food and Miz shoves the plate in Ricardo's face and leaves while Alberto shakes his head.


Booker T tries to make his entrance for his match, but Cody Rhodes attacks him from behind again and hits him until they are separated. He goes to the back while trainers check out Booker, and he is helped up and told he needs to go to the back and get reexamined.



Sledgehammer Ladder Match


Kevin Nash vs HHH



Nash knees HHH and throws him into the corner, then HHH comes back with rapid punches but Nash throws him in the corner and drives his knee into HHH's stomach. They fight back and forth in the corner then Nash knees him in the stomach again, but HHH hits him back then connects with a flying forearm shot that knocks Nash out of the ring. HHH goes to pick up a ladder but Nash kicks him into it, then he grabs the ladder and slams it into HHH's face and neck. Nash takes the ladder into the ring then goes back outside to get HHH, but HHH stands up on the announcers' table then runs at Nash and dives onto him. HHH picks him up and throws him into the barricade and Nash lands in the crowd, but he comes back with an elbow shot then drops HHH throat first on the barricade.



Nash throws him into the ring steps then tries to whip him into the ringpost, but HHH reverses it and Nash hits the ringpost and HHH kicks his knee and rolls him in the ring. HHH picks up a ladder and hits Nash in the knees with it, then swings it at his knees and hits him a few more times after Nash falls to the mat. HHH traps his leg in between the ladder and stomps on it, then twists his legs in the ladder and applies a Figure Four leglock. He releases the hold and sets another ladder against turnbuckles, then picks up the other one and throws it on Nash, the picks him up but Nash knees him in the stomach and whips HHH into the ladder in the corner. HHH lands on the floor as Nash falls down, but he is able to get up and kick HHH on the floor, then pulls himself back into the ring and sidewalk slams HHH on a ladder. He sets up a ladder on the bottom rope in the corner, then slingshots HHH face first into it and goes out to the floor and starts taking apart the commentary table. Nash sets up for a Jackknife but HHH counters by backdropping him on to the table and gets back in the ring and goes after the sledgehammer. Nash hits him from behind then clotheslines him and props the ladder in the corner and whips HHH into it. Nash chokeslams HHH and goes out to the floor to look for something under the ring, and he pulls out a table and slides it into the ring and sets it up and tries to powerbomb HHH through it.



HHH counters and shoves Nash into the ladder in the corner, then hits him in the knees with it and sets it up to go after the sledgehammer again. Nash meets him on the ladder and they fight at the top of it, but HHH swings the sledgehammer at Nash's head twice and he falls off the ladder and goes through the table. HHH unhooks the hammer and measures Nash, then beats the hell out of him with it and throws a ladder out of the ring. He waits for Nash to get up then throws the hammer away and tries to hit a Pedigree, but Nash's legs give out and he falls down. HHH picks him back up and hits a Pedigree, then gets the sledgehammer again and Nash tries to stop him by holding up the Kliq sign, but HHH gives him a crotch chop then hits him in the head with the sledgehammer and makes the cover.



Winner - HHH



Matt Striker interviews CM Punk backstage, and shows a highlight of Alberto Del Rio and Miz beating him up then says Miz looked really confident. He asks for his thoughts and Punk says he had to watch that for six days, but he saw something more painful then Michael Cole talking for two hours. Punk says he has a problem with John Laurinaitis accepting his Slammy award, and says John has never beaten anybody and asks where his trophy is. John comes up and says he mailed it to Punk, then Punk tells him he wants his Slammy and he is going to keep his championship tonight, and John wishes him luck but Punk says luck is for losers and leaves.


Jack Swagger (w/ Vickie Guerrero) vs Sheamus



Swagger hits Sheamus a few times and Sheamus asks if that is all he has, then gets fired up and beats Swagger in the corner and throws him into the ropes. Swagger tries to slow him down with an armbar submission, but Sheamus counters him and clubs him in the chest then tries to hit a suplex from the apron. Swagger blocks it then rams Sheamus into the side of the ring apron, then rolls him back in and hits a Swagger Bomb for a two count. He hits Sheamus from behind then whips him into the ropes and connects with a kidney punch, but Sheamus turns around and clotheslines him then beats him in the corner until the ref backs him off.



Sheamus hits a sidewalk slam for two then goes up top, but Swagger punches him out to the floor and goes after him but Sheamus throws him into the barricade. He goes back up top and hits the Battering Ram for two, then sets up for the Brogue Kick and waits for Swagger to get up. Swagger turns around and ducks it, then clotheslines Sheamus and drops an elbow on his knee. He follows it by applying the ankle lock, but Sheamus kicks him into the corner then ducks a clothesline and hits a Brogue Kick for the win.



Winner - Sheamus



Josh Mathews is backstage for an interview with Big Show and asks for his final thoughts before his match against Mark Henry. Show says he is excited because Henry has been scared of him ever since he came back, and he gets to use chairs in his match. He says he is going to end Henry's reign of terror, and the nine year championship draught will end tonight when he becomes World Heavyweight Champion.


Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship


Big Show vs Mark Henry (c)



Big Show goes right out to the floor and starts throwing a bunch of chairs in the ring, then starts throwing them at Henry says now its time for payback. He gets back in the ring with a chair but Henry leaves the ring and gets his title and says this isn't happening because Show is crazy. Show goes after him and avoids getting hit with the championship, then hits Henry with a chair a few times and punches him in the face. Henry comes back with some chair shots of his own, then slams Show's hand off the steps and rolls him back in the ring.



Show is favoring his injured right hand but picks up a chair and they both swing at each other and crack the chairs together but Show hurts his hand. Henry hits him a few times and Show tries to chokeslam him but can't use his hand to grip him, then Henry slams his hand in the chair and slams it into the side of his shoulder. Henry picks him up and tries to hit the World's Strongest Slam but Show elbows him with his left hand. He hits the Knockout Punch and holds him arm in pain, but crawls over and makes the cover to win the title.



Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion - Big Show



Show celebrates a bit before Henry gets up and hits him from behind with a chair, then he DDT's him on the chair while the crowd chants for Daniel Bryan. Bryan's music hits and he runs out with a referee and covers Big Show to win the title then he runs all over the ring celebrating while Show gets up. Bryan screams in Michael Cole's face then celebrates with the fans as Show watches him then smirks as he leaves the arena while Bryan goes around and high fives the fans.



Winner and NEW World Heavyweight Champion - Daniel Bryan


Booker T is shown in the back with Josh Mathews and he says he is still going to try and compete, but Josh says he has nothing to prove. Booker says he he is not going to look like a sucka, and he is in a lot of pain but Cody is going to be in more pain after the match. Booker says he is going to go bring the hurt to Cody and he is going to go out and handle his business right now. 



Intercontinental Championship


Booker T vs Cody Rhodes (c)



Booker unloads on Cody in the corner then whips him off the ropes and elbows him in the face, then bodyslams him twice and calls for one more. Cody floats over so Booker kicks him in the gut then throws him out to the floor and chops him a few times and throws him into the barricade. He rolls Cody back in the ring, but Cody kicks him when he is getting in then tries to suplex him on the apron but Booker fights it off. Cody punches Booker in the ribs then bounces off the ropes and dives at Booker, which sends him into the barricade and Cody brings him back in and hits a snapmare takedown.



Booker makes it back to his feet and whips Cody off the ropes and goes for a backdrop but Cody kicks him in the head then puts him in a full nelson. Booker breaks it so Cody punches him in the head but Booker punches him right back then they run at each other and hit a double clothesline that knocks them both down. Cody gets back up first and punches Booker, then they trade shots until Booker chops him in the corner. He clotheslines Cody and hits a side slam then hits a spinebuster off the ropes and does a Spinaroonie, then goes for a scissors kick but Cody ducks it and hits Beautiful Disaster for a two count. Cody can't believe it, but he measures up Booker then jumps off the ropes and hits Beautiful Disaster again and makes the cover to retain.

Triple Threat Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match for the WWE Championship


Alberto Del Rio vs Miz vs CM Punk



Punk tries to fight both guys off but Miz and Alberto double team him, and Punk hits a few dropkicks but Miz and Alberto hit a double team suplex. They take turns kicking Punk then go out get some ladders, and Ricardo goes after Miz and Alberto hits Miz in the back with a chair then grabs a ladder. Punk dives on him and throws the ladder at him, then gets a chair and brings it in the ring but Miz kicks him and opens the chair and jumps off of it. Punk gets out of the way and hits him with a kneelift and goes for a corner bulldog, but Miz stops him in mid air and throws Punk head first onto the chair. He goes outside but Alberto hits him a few times and throws him into the ladder, then Alberto tries to take the ladder inside but Punk kicks it at him and throws him into the barricade. Punk tries to suplex Alberto through a table but he slides out and attempts a German suplex, only to have Punk counter with a neckbreaker then Miz gets involved again.



Punk fights him off and beats him with a chair, then sits him on the barricade and runs at him and hits a kneelift that sends Miz into the crowd. He slides a ladder into the ring and sets it up to climb it, but Ricardo slides in the ring and grabs Punk's leg, then he handcuffs Punk to the ladder when Punk tries to fight him off. Alberto tries to climb the ladder that Punk is handcuffed to, but Punk kicks the ladder and breaks it, then hits Alberto in the head with the handcuffs but Miz comes in and hits him in the ribs with a ladder. Miz climbs for the title but Punk stops him and attempts a GTS, and Miz blocks it so Punk throws him on the apron and sets up a superplex. Alberto jumps in the ring and hits a jumping enziguiri on the turnbuckle, and Punk falls through a table on the floor then Alberto throws Miz over a table. He uses a ladder to put Miz in the Cross Armbreaker, then takes two chairs and walks over to Punk and hits him with them.



Alberto puts Punk's arm in a chair and applies the Cross Armbreaker, then goes back in the ring and tries to climb a ladder, but Punk and Miz climb back in the ring and tip over the ladder. Alberto crotches on the ropes then falls to the floor and Ricardo tries to climb for the title but Punk and Miz tip the ladder backwards and he crashes through a table on the floor. Punk headbutts Miz a few times and goes for a GTS, then fights off a Skull Crushing Finale attempt and runs at Miz in the corner. Miz moves and Punk hits the ringpost with his shoulder, then Miz handcuffs Punk to the turnbuckle and taunts him, but Punk knocks him out with an enziguiri and tries to take the turnbuckle apart. Miz and Alberto both get ladders and climb for the title, but Punk is able to break free and he jumps on the ladder and knocks them both down. Punk gets near the title but Miz pulls him off the ladder so Punk knocks him out with the GTS, then climbs back up the ladder and pulls his title down from the cable above the ring.

12-16: SmackDown results: Impact is imminent

RALEIGH, N.C. – As Superstars prepare to smash each other using tables, ladders
and chairs at WWE TLC on Sunday, they made final efforts to gain valuable
momentum for the brutal pay-per-view. Taking the brunt of World Heavyweight Champion
Mark Henry’s wrath was a hapless WWE cameraman, who was brutally smashed with a
steel chair.

Although they are not competing for a championship at WWE TLC, it’s clear that
Randy Orton and Wade Barrett are both eager for a victory on the pay-per-view
stage. After a back-and-forth tag team battle, it was The Viper who garnered
the win for his team by dropping United States Champion Dolph Ziggler with a
stinging RKO. As the ref delivered the three-count, Orton locked eyes with

Despite the ruthlessness Jinder Mahal displayed against Ted DiBiase, Mahal could
not stop the hard-charging Great White Sheamus, who downed Mahal with a
stunning Brogue Kick.

Ted DiBiase had Health Slater singing the blues when he planted him into the
canvas for the win. But before the DiBiase Posse Party hero could celebrate,
Jinder Mahal charged to the ring and locked him in a Camel Clutch. Taking
charge of the situation, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long emerged and
declared that Mahal would face Sheamus. 


Mark Henry attacked a
WWE cameraman and Jack Swagger

Full of rage, The World’s Strongest Man took out his fury on Swagger by
blasting him from behind with a steel chair. Not done yet, Henry demolished an unsuspecting
WWE cameraman with a vicious shot from behind with a steel chair. The ugly
display was eerily reminiscent of when Henry attacked a WWE audio technician
earlier this year (FULL STORY).

Despite being able to lock the massive Big Show in his painful ankle lock, Jack
Swagger could not stop The World’s Largest Athlete. With his devastating WMD,
Show dropped the former World Heavyweight Champion for the win. Afterward, Show
grabbed Swagger by the neck and tossed him from the ring.

Despite an impressive effort from both teams, it was Primo & Epico who
prevailed when Primo capitalized on a distraction from Rosa to pin Jey Uso.


Alicia Fox def.

Using her superb athleticism, Alicia Fox managed to roll-up Natalya for a
commanding win. In the process, Fox ripped out one of Natalya’s blonde hair extensions.
After the bout, Fox added insult to injury by attacking the distraught Diva. “You’re
so synthetic, it’s pathetic,” Fox declared.

With Booker T banned from interfering in
Rhodes’ match – or their TLC match would be off – the champion got down to
business against Daniel Bryan. Looking good for Sunday, Rhodes took Bryan down
with Cross Rhodes for the victory.


Booker T vowed to win
the Intercontinental Championship

If there’s any doubt in Booker T’s mind if he’s ready for a return to the ring,
he’s certainly not showing it. The veteran Superstar vowed to give Intercontinental
Champion Cody Rhodes the beat down of his life and win the Intercontinental Championship at WWE TLC
(PREVIEW). And, "If I win the title, I will defend it," Booker said during commentary.

WWE Tribute To Troops 2011 Results

FORT BRAGG, N.C. – WWE’s Most Patriotic Show of the Year, Tribute to the Troops featured action-packed competition, celebrity appearances and top-notch musical performances in honor of America’s bravest men and women. Emanating from the home of the Army’s Airborne Forces and the Army Special Forces, the ninth annual Tribute to the Troops was an unforgettable experience. 

Nickelback, Mary J. Blige and George Wallace entertained the troops at Fort Bragg (PHOTOS)
In addition to high-octane competition, award-winning artists Nickelback and Mary J. Blige, as well as comedian George Wallace, joined WWE to entertain the troops. Each artist rocked the arena with electrifying performances and Wallace provided plenty of holiday cheer and laughs. (WATCH: MARY J. In the end, the cousins may have proved that blood is thicker than water and picked up an impressive win against the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Rhodes and SmackDown Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan locked up one night after they battled in a Fatal 4-Way Match on Raw. Aware that the gutsy Bryan is never one to back down from a challenge, Rhodes targeted his opponent’s injured ribs. Days before they meet in a Tables Match as WWE TLC, WWE’s Apex Predator battled The Barrett Barrage in front of the men and women of the U.S. military. Orton and Barrett held nothing back and seemed poised to settle their score at Fort Bragg. The battle spilled to the outside where both Superstars were counted out. After the match, the brawl continued and as The Viper prepared to put Barrett through a table, David Otunga interfered to save his former Nexus teammate. Orton fought back and ended up putting Otunga through a table, sending a clear message to The Barrett Barrage.

After returning to SmackDown last week, WWE Diva and ring announcer Lilian Garcia made her triumphant return to Tribute to the Troops. In a powerful and heartfelt performance, she sang a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem in front of a packed arena at Fort Bragg.

Tribute To The Troops 2011 Results: Mary J. Blige Performance

The ninth annual WWE Tribute to the Troops came to you from Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, NC and featured the Superstars and Divas of the WWE, as well as stars of film and television. The ninth installment of the Tribute to the Troops featured performances by the Grammy Award-winning band Nickelback, Grammy Award-winning R&B singer Mary J. Blige, and legendary comedian George Wallace. Tribute to the Troops also featured special greetings from The Muppets, Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, Matthew McConaughey, Bradley Cooper, & Robin Williams, as well as a special appearance by “Miss USA” Alyssa Campanella. In addition to these appearances, EXTRA’s Maria Menounos would step into the ring to compete in front of the troops at Fort Bragg. Five nights before their respective matches at WWE TLC, WWE Champion CM Punk teams with ten-time former WWE Champion John Cena and “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show to face the team of World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, The Miz, & “The Mexican Aristocrat” Alberto Del Rio in a huge 6-Man Tag Match.

Detailed Results

The show kicks off with a special message from the President of the United States, Barack Obama, as Obama declares that all the troops stationed in Iraq will be home be the end of the month. Obama also wishes the troops a happy holidays from the President and First Lady, Michelle Obama.

 

Five nights before they square off in a Tables Match at WWE TLC, the opening match saw “The Viper” Randy Orton going one-on-one with Wade Barrett. In the end, the action spilled to the outside with both men brawling to the point of both Orton and Barrett getting counted out. After the match, Wade Barrett sent Randy Orton shoulder-first into the steel steps before bringing a table out from under the ring. Barrett then retrieves Orton and rolls him into the ring before setting the table up. However, Orton fights back with a dropkick to Barrett before setting his sights on the table, but just as Orton is set to powerbomb Barrett through the table when David Otunga attacks Orton from behind. Orton recovers from the attack and hits the RKO on Otunga, but Orton was not through with the Harvard Law graduate as, in a clear message to Barrett, Orton powerbombs Otunga through the table! Is this the fate that awaits Wade Barrett this Sunday at WWE TLC?

 

Then in the first performance of the night, the Grammy Award-winning band Nickelback perform the hit theme song of Monday Night RAW, “Burn It To The Ground”!

 

Five nights before he challenges Dolph Ziggler for the United States Title at WWE TLC, “The Long Island Iced Z” Zack Ryder went one-on-one with “The All-American American” Jack Swagger, with United States Champion Dolph Ziggler in his corner, but before the match begins, Zack Ryder brings a very special “broski” to be in his corner, Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter. During the match, Jack Swagger throws Zack Ryder to the outside, allowing Dolph Ziggler to get a cheap shot in behind the referee’s back, but Sgt. Slaughter does not let it fly as Slaughter clotheslines the United States Champion over the announce table before being taken down by Swagger. Back in the ring, Jack Swagger goes for a big splash on Zack Ryder, but Ryder dodges before hitting the Rough Ryder Leg Lariat on Swagger en route to picking up the win. After the match, Sgt. Slaughter gets his payback by locking in the legendary Cobra Clutch on “The All-American American”!

 

The Divas were in action on Tribute to the Troops as former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly teams with Eve, Alicia Fox, and their celebrity partner, EXTRA’s Maria Menounos to face Divas Champion Beth Phoenix, Natalya, & The Bella Twins in an 8-Diva Tag Match. In the end, it was Maria Menounos catching Beth Phoenix by surprise with a sunset flip roll-up to pick up the upset win for her team.

Legendary comedian George Wallace then makes a special appearance at Tribute to the Troops to perform in front of Fort Bragg as Wallace gives his take on Holiday traditions before revealing that all military personnel can come see his show in Las Vegas for free in 2012!

 

Five nights before he comes out of retirement to challenge Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Title at WWE TLC, six-time World Champion Booker T comes out to help call the action at ringside as “Mr. Money-in-the-Bank” Daniel Bryan goes one-on-one with Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes, sporting a black eye from his brawl with Booker T on SmackDown, in a non-title match. During the match, the action spills to the outside where Cody Rhodes throws Daniel Bryan into the announce table. Shortly after this, Cody Rhodes taunts Booker T, but when the referee is tending to Daniel Bryan, Booker delivers a right hand to Rhodes, allowing Bryan to roll Rhodes up to pick up the win. After the match, Cody Rhodes dares Booker T to come in the ring and the legend complies, leading to a brawl between champion and challenger with Booker getting the better of the situation. However, the Intercontinental Champion would rush the ring again, this time getting slapped by the six-time World Champion! What will happen this Sunday at WWE TLC when these two square off with the Intercontinental Title on the line?

 

Legendary R&B singer Mary J. Blige then performs on Tribute to the Troops. Then, backstage, “Miss USA” Alyssa Campanella does the Boom Clap with WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom, Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston.

 

With Hornswoggle appearing as the special ring announcer, the WWE Tag Team Champions were in action as Air Boom, Evan Bourne & Kofi Kingston, faced one of the newest teams in the WWE, the cousins Epico & Primo, with Rosa Mendes in their corner. In the end, it was Epico hitting the Back Stabber on Evan Bourne en route to the team defeating the WWE Tag Team Champions.

 

In an encore performance by Nickelback, the multi-Platinum band performs their newest single “When We Stand Together”, the theme song of the 2011 WWE Tribute to the Troops.

 

Still recovering from an ankle injury, the neck-braced Christian appears on Tribute to the Troops on crutches as Christian states that he is there to support and represent the Canadian Army. Sheamus then interrupts, scaring Christian backstage as “The Great White” is in action as Sheamus went one-on-one with Drew McIntyre. In the end, it was Sheamus blasting Drew McIntyre with the Brogue Kick en route to picking up the win.

In her second performance of the night, Mary J. Blige performs her classic hit, “Family Affair”! Then it was time for the huge main event as WWE Champion CM Punk teams with John Cena and “The World’s Largest Athlete” Big Show to face the team of World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry, The Miz, & Alberto Del Rio in a 6-Man Tag Match. At the end of a chaotic 6-Man Tag Match, it was Big Show delivering a chokeslam to Alberto Del Rio, CM Punk delivering the GTS to The Miz, and Big Show delivering the W.M.D. to Mark Henry, allowing John Cena to hoist the World Heavyweight Champion up and deliver the Attitude Adjustment en route to picking up the win for his team. The show then comes to a close with the Superstars and Divas of the WWE standing on the stage while John Cena delivers a special speech to the troops in attendance before everyone comes to ringside to meet and greet the troops and their families.
